Title: Mongoose Torq
Post by: Red Ink Cricket on August 08, 2012, 10:25:51 AM
a team mate has a torq and was asking me about the splice on it. obviously its a smaller splice in length but is it just a case that its not cut so far into the blade and the length of the handle reduced or is there something else they do?
the website says this
"Unique Mongoose technology reduces the length of the splice by half to increase the hitting area and give you the biggest, most sizzling sweet spot in cricket."

technology?

Basically the 'ears' are longer and the exposed bit of the splice is shorter. So the glued section is a similar length, just more is hidden in the handle.
