Spotted this on the ebay bargains thread and thought I'd take a punt at £59.99.
Glad I did to be honest - on the (dodgy?) scales at 2.14 with 2 grips and an anti-scuff, however the pick up is really nice, a good 3-4oz less than the dead weight.
I can count 9 grains.
Not the biggest in terms of profile, but big enough, and seems to tap up ok with a mallet. Pretty happy overall as I quite fancied a Volante.

Anyone know how pre-prepared Chases are?
Cheers,
Jules

yes there should be a sticker on the back near the top saying 80% or another sticker followed by a signature if not take it as not being knocked in

It's a Chase avalanche on here tonight!
For 59.99 you got yourself a huge bargain ;)
Chase have a knocking in machine so it will either be ready to go (probably best to have a couple of nets with old balls first though) or it won't have been touched at all. As procricket said there will be a sticker on the back of the bat.....no sticker means it needs knocking in.....but they don't need loads, they're really well pressed.

Cheers lads - it's got the factory pre-prepared stickers on the side - but nothing on the back.
I'll give it a hit and see how we get on!
