Hi!
Has anyone heard of these guys or dealt with them or used their bats?
The website has all sorts of stories and no contact details.
I asked for contact numbers, but got a email saying they do not have a office number but happy to communicate over email and send pictures.
Asked for pictures of a bat and got some stock pictures.
Surprisingly, even after 3-4 email exchanges, I don't know who I am chatting communicating with!

not sure why anyone would wish to take legal action against a piece of willow.... ;)

I tried to sue one of their bats cos it said I was useless! But judging by my batting this season, it had a good point! :(

HI Guys
Just stumbled accross this forum when I googled Vanquish Bats to order a new bat. I ordered a bat from them last year, Asked for a Grade 1 2lb 8oz with a rounded handle (I'm easily pleased)
I must admit, at first I was a little concerned because their phone kept going through to answer phone, but in the end I managed to speak to someone and they were really helpful.
The bat arrived really quickly and it is an abolute gun! If I can find out how to post pics on here I will get a few up of it. The grain is quality, pick up is lovely and the over all balance is perfect. The bat cost me £140.00 and I would honestly recommend these guys to anyone.
I've just ordered a new one at 2lb 9oz so when it comes i shall post pics on here guys!

Welcome to the forum and all that! Definitely post some pictures, I'm interested to see one in the flesh too.....£140 is a decent price!

I can't see anything wrong with this guys?
Am i missing the point? should I be concerned about this company? I have dealt with them in the past and the bats they sent out have been spot on! Apparently they use stock photos of their bats rather than posting images of actual bats, But so do Kookaburra, Slazenger, Newberry etc surely?
If any of you find anything of concern please let me know

I think it's just the lack of transparency in there approach that's all mate. No shop front, no easy and efficient contact details, Generic workshop photos. They could be the Aston Martin (no pun intended) of the cricket world but until they become a bit more approachable I'd tread with caution.

Totally agree with that mate which is why I asked them so many questions before I purchased my first bat. They have an email address and I have spoken to a guy on the phone but other than that they do seem pretty difficult to contact.
I must say though, I have purchased bats in the past from the most transparent of companies and the bats have been planks!

But the company that are easy to contact will probably take return of the aforesaid plank in line with their obligations a whole lot easier than the one you can never speak to!

I trying to find more out about them I see a lot of people I know are friends on facebook with them surely some of them have purchased there bats.
And idea where there made mate

True True!! I am sure they have a return / refund policy on their site??
As for where they are made.... I am unsure... Not even sure if they are "made" by them or simply sold?? They are great sticks though so I havent really thought to ask??

I know they look like Pakistan made bats which is by no means a bad thing at all some of the best bats I have used come from there..

Since my last post I have purchased two more bats from Vanquish and 4 of my friends have also purchased from them. The sticks they sent us are quality I really want to upload some pics for you guys.
I also managed to get hold one the lads at their office for a chat. Apparently their bats are all produced here in the UK and they guarantee that they don't import any willow what so ever, which is a positive i guess?
anyways, ive got them on facebook and they currently have a sale on so i thought i would jump on here and let you know!
In the meantime.... if anyone can help me pop some photos up that would be great!

Yeah, I think I get that impression too, especially with the grip tape. Nothing wrong with that, although if they have told you that all their bats were UK made, and there were no imports, then I would be a little skeptical... :-[

not just me then. Tape looks asian, profiles asian and if I didn't know better I'd say they are a customer of Steve at MSR...

Double grip tape is defo a giveaway as to their origins

wouldnt trust them as far as i could throw them... i got in contact with them last year as they had a photo of a bat id purchased from somewhere else on there facebook page.. when i pulled them up on it they gave some very sketchy answers !

Hardly, I thought I was doing people a favour by sharing the fact they had a sale. Silly me.
I've also looked on their website and can't see anywhere that states the bats are made here in the UK but they do state that their bats are from UK grown willow. Which is more or less what the likes of stever at MSR does isnt it if i'm not mistaken?
Anyways, I will upoload a pic of the bat I have from them and you can make your own minds up

Anyone have any more info on these guys? Looking at getting a blade from them. Looks like they've started doing pads too on their website

Sounds as if they are SP cricket. I started a thread on here somewhere a while back, mate ended up getting one and it's a rocket. I would suggest sticking with the forum sponsors. Too much risk involved and buying a bat shouldn't make you paranoid and concerned!

I've now got two of their bats and they are absolute guns! great customer service too, the second bat they sent was a little heavy so they simply replaced it.
Ive been trying to upload pics of them both but it doesnt seem to work on my mac. Any ideas on how I do this?

Seems odd that all your posts are vanquish related, how long have you been working for them??

When you have access to behind the scene details, you can match it to Facebook/twitter/company website that use the same details.
Google then helps to find who they associate with, live etc.
Usefull when someone comes on a forum claiming to be a too happy customer with a poor previous poor company, and you find out its a current employee instead(happens a lot)

Cheers mate. I'm not clued up when it comes to stuff like that.
It's just strange the guy made 9 comments about how good vanquish are then 1 shoddy statement badmouthing another brand then disappeared. We need questions...also if he does have a contact number for vanquish then please share with the forum, it sounds like a few people would like to have a chat with them

I take a very dim view of plugging/selling of brands without disclosure of any association. I will be contacting the individual concerned.
