Title: Sam Billings
Post by: The_Bird on August 14, 2012, 11:04:51 PM
Ok so this guy is increasingly looking like a very classy one day bat, I was wondering what is going on with his bat? It's an Oblivion but he appears to have customized it. Is this common? Why not use the legend stickers if he prefers the more subtler look?

I actually prefer those stickers to the legend ones, as the legend ones don't have the border.

Prefer the back sticker too!

He plays at my club, really top bat once scored 208 in a Kent prem league game. He's also a very good keeper

He's been using oblivions for the past year or so, I'll try and find out what this is on saturday

That 208 was last season wasn't it mate? Was the talk of the premier league....very glad I didn't have to bowl at him....Did have to play against Daniel Bell-Drummond though which wasn't much fun!

Yes mate it was at our place but can't remember the oppo. I remember it well as I was playing up the back pitch and Sam scored precisely 208 more runs than I did that day :-(

Would be interesting to know what happened over the winter from 2009 to 2010 - Looks like he came back as a different player!

Looks absoloute quality what i've seen of him on TV

The game against Glos 2s yesterday seemed a good one for him. My mate Bracey had a nice little knock too haha

600 runs in 80 overs, must've been a very good deck!

Not happy about Jack Laraman playing, he is massively overrated.
