Hello, ive took some fibre tape of my bat and there is adhesive left on the bat. What is the best way to get rid of this?

Always annoying! I try and get an old credit card or something you can scrape it off with and then maybe a bit of white spirit try remove the stickyness of it.

Very sharpe knife blade - Stanley works well.
Make sure it's angled with the cutting edge behind the direction you are scraping, so you don't end up taking wood off rather than just the excess adhesive. And always direction of grain.

thanks chaps, im having a got with a stanley at the moment. Its a taking a while though.

A simple method I use is to get fine sanding paper and sand it down until just bits of strings remain.. This can then be hand picked.. Put a light coating of oil after to ensure moisture remains intact since you have sanded the edges a little.

Acetone (nail varnish remover) can sometimes help.

Always used white spirit for this
