Title: Masuri titanium or steel
Post by: anywhere_for_6 on August 19, 2012, 07:21:47 PM
Hi guys, I was hoping someone can shed some light on my problem. I'm after a new helmet and I want a new masuri one, what I want to know is, is the masuri shell the same when you purchase one with steel grill or a titanium grill. Meaning if I purchase a titanium one is the shell lighter/better or is the only difference the grill.

Thanks

Yes, the shells are the same I believe. We only have steel grilles in stock at the moment...

get a steel grill one there's not that much difference between them for the costs of a titanium grill

Thanks guys, I think I will get the steel grill then. Now I've gotta decide if I want understated black or open to sledging bright red. Lol

Thanks for the help

Black Masuri available brand new on Ebay at a cracking price. Was 25 quid when I last looked if I remember right.

The lids are the same, but the titanium grill is lighter. I have never really looked to get a titanium grill helmet till recently, as a little bit of weight off the head can only really do you good for your batting. 8)
