I took the 1 and a bit hour journey down to stoke on Trent to gary at spyder bats and it was sure worth it! His new bats had just come in the morning so i had a little look at them and a look on the shelf and found 1 beauty that had my name written on it. Also got a pair of pads (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=19261.0) and gloves (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=19262.0)

had a few hits with a ball, Garry was great let me have a feel of everything while giving me the ins and outs of every bat, he went and changed the original grip for a lighter yet thicker for nothing and put a nice clear anti scuff on,really love the bat . He gave me a small discount because i play for my county age group (RRP £180 i got it for £130) i recommend going down there also got some pads and gloves reviews up for them shorty. Even threw in a free bat cover and ball, really is a top bloke!
