hahaha I'm traditionalist at heart but also obsessed with the details of bats.... I just have to understand how stuff works! Even from a young age when watching Playschool, there will be a few old enough to remember that one, everytime they went through a window. I was hoping for a factory or some such so I could see how they made things.

I can bore people to death in the workshop chatting about willow and bat shapes

Which reminds me I might do an ask the bat maker thing

I find there is a little bit of concaving on Hades through out the back of the blade and was just curious if that concaved area could be made smaller with a C to V to C...dunno if i make sense will try my hand at MS Paint to draw it out but thats going to look like a car wreck...

Hades will continue its run and will remain unchanged. It has been designed to work in a certain way and there is no point in changing its profile.

further details of bat profiles will be out soon but expect an ultra traditional and a nice tweak to the Infinity

Hi Andy,

You say above that the Hades is designed to work in a certain way - can you elaborate on that? Do you mean it is good for certain types of players or certain shots? It is it just your carefully designed bat which ticks the required boxes for things like centre of percussion & frequency etc (I.e. things I've read about on you blog but don't understand!)
