Here's a question that has been bugging me for the last year or two - why is it that so few manufacturers now offer long handle or long blade bats? It used to be that around 35% of adult stock would be the longer size, nowadays there are hardly any to be seen and the likes of Puma, Adidas, Slazenger etc just don't do them....

IJC have a couple of long handles in their sale - Hunts and SS. - The super short seems to be on the decline too. I can remember when they were all the rage.

Talking to b3 I wanted to try a ssh they told me not too after a few questions they said I use the handle as a counter lever

I think you mean "Big Manufacturers" and "As standard stock". I have a nice range of LH, LB and combinations and all were not made by mainstream makers. Interestingly, it's the kind of thing that aids the custom makers. I only ever remember Hunts and GN doing LH and Kook doing LB, and you'd occasionally see a LH GM or Slaz.
So instead I have H4L, Instinct, SAF and what I believe is a CA all in my variety of lengths.

ive had one request for a SSH but none for a LH or any variety in blade length

oh I have a superb range of them, but have increasingly been forced to go custom in the last three to four years. I have a beautiful V600 LH and a top notch, but cracked, LB Ridgeback but now....
