Has anyone here used the Newbery Wicket Keeping gear?
Tried some on the other week and felt really nice and was thinking about getting some for next season?
How do others rate them?
Would i be better of getting a pair of Wymers customs?
These are £53.99

I haven't used them, but like most Newbery kit, I'm sure it will be decent quality!
Better using Wymers? Well - the Wymers will be made to your exact hand shape and size so will fit perfectly!
I guess the question is how do the Newbery gloves fit? It they fit perfectly and feel excellent then they would sound fine. But if you want a custom made set of keeper gloves to fit you like a glove :( then the Wymer?

Will have to nip back over to the shop and give them a better try on and try them on with some inners
Hate choosing kit, can't i just have them both?!

I take it you are referring to the new range of Newbery SPS WK Gloves, the white ones not the navy/gold ones.
They are extremely soft and supple and virtually need no breaking in. The web is well sized and they have a long cuff shape. When I bought my gloves this year it was a toss-up between these and the GN Legends. They are a really nice pair of gloves and I like the fact that they are all white and thus quite minimalist and understated. Recommended.
