I am sick of all this back stabbing and cockyness in the current England team !
Kp dropped for his small comments and texts .
Anderson slags of ecb captains in his new book but hey that's fine .
Looking at swann yesterday he was walking around the dressing room like a smug child .
Parody accounts or not sort it !!
Hell drop then all !!!
I don't care I'd rather have a young and unexperienced team than a bunch of spoilt tosseers who have nothing better to do than ruin each others careers !
-
Well you seem to be on hand. Why don't you sort it?
-
Lol why don't you speak to them all individually and tell them that it's not good enough Shaq, I'm sure they'll listen to you!
-
im not sure it's as bad as all that, there's def a few egos, topped off by the biggest of all-KP.
He is a free agent now so someone can peel his grapes for him in the IPL-good luck to him he wants the money he will get it.
Flower took on the death threats of Rubert Mugabe after wearing a black armband in a one day match to represent the death of democracy.
Flower will sort it out, it might take time but it will be full on dealt with-it just takes time.
England will move on,one man dont make a team, fantastic player that he is 'great' is a very overused word.
Think Lara,Ponting,Kallis,Miandad,SRT and Dravid -these are great players.

Don't get me wrong kp has a massive ego .
But so do the likes of swann broad Anderson and Brennan .
I would class kp as a great player am sorry but you can't deny kp has probably the greatest player for enland in the last 5 years
-
As long as England keep self destructing I am grinning like a Cheshire cat

That's the problem they all have massive egos and think they are bigger than the game... That's what happens when they listen to people telling them they are the best in the world!!!
-
got to agree with Number 4, quite possibly No 1 went to England's heads and after the mountain was climbed.Same happened to India.England are still top 3 in the world and a decent side.
We will be there or thereabouts in the future,no team stays with the same players-we have a lot of talent in this Country.
the ashes will prob be a bit closer than previously :)

England cricket is in a sorry mess !!
What happened to releasing books after your career was done and you were sat in front of your fire with slippers on all nice and retired !! .
I'm sorry but Players need to be dropped and punished however kp is the k ly one to of suffered this ! .
It was horrible to see but on Saturday whilst England batted everyone sat in the little put up stand and then up on the balcony there was the clique of Bresnan , swann, and Anderson all sat togeather with Finn and lumb say separately
Wonder what the likes of Duncan fletcher would of done in this situation

Dare I say it's the British fixation with celebrity? When England were losing, no one cared and the only people who would buy a cricketer's book were old cricket fans. Now they've been successful and the public demands more, more! MORE!! Thus the books (see footballers).

Completely agree I mean Wayne Rooney is releasing his second book this week for gods sake !! And he is far from retired
-
I actually preferred it when we were rubbish. Its hard to have egos when you only win 1 in 10
-
you are right about the books Shaq, Flower does not like players releasing them while they are still playing.i dont think he can stop it thou.
A player still representing England probably has a larger fee than a retired one.
it is more of a 'celebrity' game, much like football. Cricketers can earn vast sums of money now and that brings many problems.
Ive read Swann's book, personally I dont see anything too controvertial. He did'nt rate KP as skipper-fair enough, and Jimmy Anderson did not rate MV-these are opinions all cricketers have them

Do we know what Anderson said about flintoff ? Just I saw a rather uneasy tweet from Freddie to Anderson saying "gettin a lot of tweets about you today something you wanna tell me "
-
nothing too much, he thinks he was a great palyer, not a great captain
anderson rates nasser hussein and strauss
Nasser is highly thought of by a lot of us England fans.when he took over we were rubbish-he dragged us up.
-
Kp dropped for his small comments and texts
Small comments?! Didn't he basically advise the yarpies how to get out his own captain?
-
Anderson has a book?! Lol
What is it? "mediocrity & mysticism: a guide to creating the illusion of quality despite averaging over 30"
-

Yup, hardly small comments in my book.....As Scyld Berry said....if that's true then it mounts to treason!
-
he did and a few choices south african words for the skipper who took us to number.
after the kp/peter moores(moores got a raw deal i reckon) the ECB cleared out both and Struass took over from that mess.
Kp said at the time 'strauss now has what i wanted' so there was clearly some resentment there.
the ECB is not a bunch of old blokes sitting round drinking gin, they can make tough calls and will do so again if needed.

Hardly small comments, no, I agree, but unlikely to be something they hadn't worked out from tons of video already, I mean, KP is hardly the world's greatest bowler is he! Still, telling them how is proper wrong and he deserved what he got if it's true.
-

Really? I've played club cricket against a bottom of the league side with 11 egos...
-
I dont think sportman should release books until they've stopped playing. I read that Broad has a book out in October and its his 2nd autobiography, how can you have more than 1 autobiograhpy?
-
I find it sad that no one speaks to each other. Does Freddie not have andersons mobile?

Bit like the team we beat yesterday ;)

Surely this is not strictly true? After all, why would they want to know something that they are already doing superbly well?
That's like people saying that KP sent texts to Amla after the Test matches about how to bat against us! He already knows and the bowlers obviously already knew how to get Strauss out! So I'm not sure how much truth there was in that, unless he was being ironic??

Best comment on here!
Tweets are frankly ridiculous and all these alledged exchanges between players out in the open is ridiculous too - these kind of things should be discussed behind closed doors. Flintoff sounds like a spoilt child.
I find the whole thing tedious and un-necessary, it it's rather clouding my judgement of certain players.
I think Strauss actually has some dignity.
