are light but also provide a strong and complete toe protection? Something like steel toe shoes worn by construction workers?
It kinda bothers me that manufactures pay too much attention to provide scientific mumbo jumbo on the sole and make all different kinds of strong grip and non-slip soles but your toes are dangerously prone to severe injury under that thin layer of leather or mesh.

Apart from steel toe caps I don't think there is. The next best thing it tennis shoes with spikes fitted... That's what I'm looking into for next season.
