no idea what's going on the link and the pictures have been removed sorry if i broke any laws haha
-
sorry just realised i shouldn't of taken them from that forum sorry !!!! im an amateur sorry :(
-
Those Gloves :(
-
Can't understand why the new Recoil looks just like the old Rogue. I think the Menace bat looks pretty cool, though. Can't see us stocking many of those mittens though - ridiculous!!
-
I like those mitten gloves, bats look shocking
-
I guess these aren't allowed for public viewing as they've been removed?
-
We will have them up later today, one of our retailer sponsors is kindly posting them for us.
(no Pressure then Asad ;))
-

They are online (and allowed for public viewing), just not on this forum.
-
Ok thanks Tom
-
I would understand the mitten gloves maybe if it was an April 1st launch. Dear dear dear
-
If there in the public domain I don't see that you can stop people posting them on here - just sounds petty to me
-
just seen the pics on CI - all I can say is YUCK!!!! Looks like one of the designers let their babby barf on the bat stickers! ;)
-

As I've said - happy for people to post them. But they should have a credit, which the original ones had and were then removed (by the admin). I'm happy for our images to be shared, if the copyright holder is credited.
But for the copyright to be removed by the administrators, and then aim to profit off our intellectual property is unacceptable.
-
You've lost me slightly with the legal gubbins. Were the photos posted not CI marked?

Nope. And the link which was posted back to us, was removed. To clarify - fine to post CI images. But they must be credited, ideally with a link - but at least with the mark.
I don't think that's too much to ask, particularly as we (and our members, such as Vitas Cricket in this case) spend a large amount of time, effort and money to track down these exclusives - which no other forum/website/blog offers.
-
I think CBF stance is that we don't like posting of links, but personally I don't have a problem with marked images.
I think CI is a great place for kit news.... But CBF is a great place to discuss it! :D
-
CBF's stance is they don't like posting of links to one site, and that is Cricket Insight. You don't see CricInfo links being censored for example. At the moment CI is the elephant in the room!
I would go as far as saying this is the best forum for discussion on kit around, which is why I allow links posted to it on the CI forum and blog.
(You may want to delete/move these, to get back on Kooka talk)
-
I like cricket insight there more actual kit news on there as Johnny rightly says and there a clear respect from the bigger cricketing community for it.
It good on here too mind bar a little forum tunnel vision
-
...anyway, Kookaburra 2013. The mitts are certainly unique, quite like the menace graphics, but ricochet graphics are a bit disappointing. Not really seen enough of the profiles to pass comment.
Find it hard to believe that Bell will endorse the Menace and wear the mitts. I've seen an interview with him before where he championed sausage style gloves
-
Gloves are absolutely dreadful
-
sp mittiens look a likes
-
So this is cool then?

Really liked the Kook stickers this year, 2013 range looks like a who's who of the eBay fakers. Absolutely shocking stuff from Kook and don't even get me started on the mittens, if this is their attempt to jump on the 'Retro' bandwagon it's a shambles.
-
That's fine. Should say thanks to Vitas Cricket as well for helping us out with some of the photos.
The Richochet is the best looking Kooka for a while IMO
-
Got to say the mittens look someone more for a 1970's ski holiday than cricket.
But I do have to say I would be in favour for the old 2 finger bindings, as my old slazenger 600 gloves were ace!
-
I think they are horrific, but I am sure Vic Nicholas will love them!
-
I love those gloves
-
The gloves are like the old St Peter's from years ago
-
I agree with Tom about the Ricochet, and I will reserve judgement on those gloves until I've tried them on tomorrow!
-
Jos Buttler striding out with the Ricochet I think
-
My god...... Gloves look like they have been designed in minecraft....
-
Bat goes alright mind lol ;)
-

He seems to be using it rather well.....stunning hitting!
-
Mmmmm having spent a lot of time (5 months) looking at gloves i'll reserve judgement until they are worn... I know why they would have done this, they could have been a touch more reserved when styling them... But it would be nice to see them really make difference in terms of safety.
Choosing materials last year was an eye opener so i hope they have incorporated some of the hdi foams and nylons into these to make them the best they can be.
If anyone gets a chance to try them it would be nice to hear what you think.
-
Love the ricochet gloves! :)
-
Does anyone know if those mittens come with a piece of string attached them to each other for you to put through your sleeves?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.... the nana string!! Genius :D
-
My god...... Gloves look like they have been designed in minecraft....
or indeed world of waRcraft!
-
See, this is why I don't like Kookaburra and will never buy their products. Awful, awful, awful.
-
Whilst not sure about the style, I know protection wise why they've done that with the gloves. Wonder if we'll see others doing it?
