Anyone else struggle with the light ball when bowling after having bowled with a full weight one at the weekend?
-
I avoid bowling at indoor if possible and am in purely for my drinking and slogging!
Just sourced some lovely pink balls for the league we sponsor so hope they are easier to see than last years yellow ones.

You must be playing different rules. Everyone must bowl 2 in ours.

Yeah 12 overs a side max 3 per bowler...it would take a while if I have to dust off my bowling arm!
-
We play the same as the recent video. 16 overs per side, everyone bowls 2, bat as skins, each pair faces four overs, running from halfway. An oddly static, dynamic game!

we play 12 overs with a max 3 per bowler. im probably an exception here. i keep during the summer ( bowled 10 overs this year only) but will bowl my 3 pretty much every game. come off 3 paces and skid it on so works well indoors. obviously dont notice the difference.

When you come off 10 outdoors and ping it through, the change in resistance really knackers you...

i think ill have to take your word for that tim. lol. do you guys use the yellow or red plastic type balls( smooth with a printed seam on) or the indoor cricket balls with a proper seam?

Indoor cricket balls with a seam. They swing like a porn star at a car key party and are far too light ;)

we use the plastic smooth ones with the seam printed on. seam disappears in about 10 mins and then its just a smooth shiney surface. difficult not to swing it. difficult to control at times particularly if the venue leaves the heating on and its roasting. seems to go round corners then!
