I have a pair of SM vantage Volt pads which I love but find the straps a little to long (bout an inch or 2)
So just wanted to know what pads folk use and how long the straps are? Or does anybody know of pads with shorter than normal straps.
-
I have similar issues with my pads due to my fairly skinny legs. What I do is fold the strap up slightly towards the end of the strap before velcro-ing them back down.
-
I have skinny legs too haha and the kookaburra r900 straps are massive !

Ah I see... Will have to try that. Still does not cure the issue of the straps being to long. I want straps that fit perfect.
-
If you want perfect straps, you'll need to cut them down and have the ends resealed. Strap lengths are always a compromise as they need to cater for skinny and not so skinny legs.

I hab had the problem before so. Tailor them with veloand get the it down to size

Straps for some reason have got longer, here is a pic of 2010 puma strap and a 2012 puma strap.

I did think they were getting longer cause I don't remember having this issue with pads I have had in the past. I don't think I have the skills to mod my pads and as I only have one pair I can afford to screw it up. :(

I also have these pads and have the same problem! I used to have a pair of Newbery pads and cut the end of the strap and sewed the end up so it didn't flair...

I always thought my skinny legs were the problem, but my dad tried my Adidas ones on and said they are too long too.
Im sure they are getting longer. Does it vary by brand? I have some BAS pads on the way, hoping they fit better!

Just cut them off, get a Nan/sister/Mum to do it and they will make a good job I'm sure.
