With the season all but finished it would be interesting to know who starts netting when. Anybody net this side of xmas or doing anything special for 2013?
-
Tomorrow indoors and pretty much every day I can mate
Got the hall and got the machine
-
Think some of my mates and I start end of october, At an unsavoury time of 9-11pm
-
Netted at school every week since Wednesday, continues till the season. Unfortunately gotten the flu probably won't make it this week!
-
My clubs indoors officially start in mid-January but I hear some/most lads start it sooner.
I'm new to this club so I'm not completely aware of there process :(
-
Club nets are usually arranged from about mid-late february inddors, but I may pay for a couple of coaching sessions up the oval/down in guildford, as I found these helped massively when I had them a couple of years ago.
-
Planning on doing something similar myself.
-
I may also go down with a couple of others and hire out the bowling machine too.
-
start of january unless i net at uni this year then it'll be asap

If you do the Guildford one then give me a shout, I am always up for some practice.

Likewise,
I'm moving near wimbledon at the start of next month, so will be looking to get some nets in whenever - I've got a few sample shapes to test out too if anyone's interested.

Will do. I'm sort of in the middle of the oval and guildford really. It's just as easy for me to get to both, although I'd lug all my kit up the oval on the tube!

training in the barn, and doing some fitness this winter I think too. with some golf thrown in!
-
I may make a rugby playing comeback, although most likely just for fitness and training purposes, as I'm not sure my dodgy knees and ankles could handle a full match!
-
Gym & Cardio till January then will add nets to the mix...
-
Gyming 3-4 times a week at the moment. Have also started training with Bolton baseball club.
-
I received an amazing birthday pressie for my 40th, a block of ten sessions of one to one coaching at Old Trafford Cricket Centre, so I will be doing Two a month till they run out, but I would love to find more cricket practice between now and next season, so if anyone knows of any in the North West, I am in Ramsbottom Bury, please let me know.

I took October off but started up netting in November. I tend to do about 3 hours a week on a bowling machine personally and another 3 feeding for a training partner. Of course, starting last sunday till 15th Jan as i'm off I will literally be doing at least 1 hour on hte machine every day. Literally the only days I can't are xmas and boxing day when the indoor centre is shut.. Winner :)
If anyone lives around the Gloucester area and wants to do some winter nets send me a PM. Bowling ones are an option if you want as I do bowl but it's only military medium (I swing it both ways if I choose so it's not that easy!)
-
Fitness for me november started running 2 times a week, plus exercises for core strength.
-
Is there anywhere i could get som practice in the Derby or Notts area as i'm keen to get back into again
-
Where abouts are you based now Marc
-
Kilburn in Derby, i play for a local team but could use the practice for sure
