me, thanks interesting shot good change in movement
-
great shot, but why would he try that lol ?
-
Clearly wasnt planning on doing it, he just reacted to the ball being outside his leg stump
-
A sign of a quality player who can change a shot which he had premeditated and not just go through with the original reverse sweep.
-
defo to change a shot is pure class
-
Agree with Watsontotty. That's defiantley a sign of a quality player...

I saw an interview with him, and he did explain it a lot like the guys above - basically he pre-meditated a reverse sweep, but at the last minute realised the ball wasn't in the right area to play the shot, so he adapted it
-
i was watching it live, he got 160 odd aswell
-
Same they were getting bored out there!

It was a quality knock from him; Compton's was good as well. I think Eoin Morgan's going to do well with England, maybe a star role in the Twenty20. He seems to have that self-confidence/mental strength/touch of arrogance/call-it-what-you-like that Pietersen and Bopara have. He looks comfortable at the crease and has lots of shots.

we have a guy at our club called trevor fabien who had trials for west indies u19 and he played against morgan(when he was about 15) for the army team and he said him and his mates were bowling about 80 mph and morgan kept flicking bouncers for six acording to trev hes got some good stories

Did people see the artical in The Wisden Cricketer about him??
