I've been asked to replace the handle on this kook, there wasn't anything wrong with it except it made a clicking sound when picking up (think the handle had started de-laminating, nothing was visible), anyway i thought I'd post a few pictures.
Also had to make a new splice jig, ended up making two, my first attempt didn't go quite to plan...doh >:(

Looks a decent stick. With rehandling, do you have to remodel the tabs where the blade meets the handle or just stick twine over the top?

Normally yes, but you obviously need to tidy up the splice etc so that's done at the same time as the "tabs".

Ok thanks. Didn't know if that was the correct terminology, just heard someone else refer to them as that haha.
