Title: New pads vs. Traditional pads
Post by: Bull9 on October 07, 2012, 08:53:51 AM: Was thinking about like the Boom Boom pads, how they are a fairly modern design. I much prefer the canes like the Newbery pads or Kookaburra.. Is that just me who thinks like that? Or do people prefer the other newer ones?

Which Boom Boom interest you? I had Signature 175.

Post by: BakarooBonzai on October 08, 2012, 06:41:58 PM: I have the GM RSB's, I like what they have to offer in light weight protection. Having said that, nothing fits like traditional pads, modern pads tend to be a bit stiff.

never had any issues batting in traditional pads, what problems do you have?

Same here, I had Newbery Grizzly ones and they were sooooo comfy! The straps were really really long though

I just mean they're a bit wide and obtrusive, but my SG pads have changed my mind a bit on this

so gm or kook ones for me work well...
