Ok then chaps, i have been designing a few pairs of gloves and whilst im normally keen to stick to simple... i couldn't help but continue with a secondary design...
I thought i would get a general consensus as it may just me not being able to see the wood for the trees and liking something that could be hideous to the masses. So please feel free to comment.

Yep, thats been the issue i had with this... i may opt for a different more complete shape... it need something for ventilation but removing them completely made it a little dull. Appreciate the speedy feedback.

Quick question/observation...The 'T' in the thumb-forefinger gap...Would that not promote the ball rolling up and out the glove? Just looks as if you're making a ramp for the ball, rather than a natural 'net'. Could be talking crap though!

they are one of the best looking pair of gloves ive seen ......... i'd wear them apart from the cup isnt big enough, it is way way too small to fit a ball in it comfortably

Nice effort Marcus, i would swap the colours arouns on the fingertips a the bands on the glove so the fingertips where the brown/gold and the gold band was black instead

They have been specifically for a made for a young player and to match the work we have already done for him... hence the bling. As a lot of the other kit is black and gold. But I have literally got off the phone after placing a short run. So they will be available from January with everything else I have been working on but there will be only a very small number of these gloves and pads made.

Ha ha... the wrist part is staying the fingers are down to two vents... after chatting with the chap that'll wear them... he just wanted a bit more breeze! Plus i like what he said... they'll look great in the papers if i snaffle the catch! ;)

Cheers big dog! Never going to please every player, but with no expense spared on materials and cool to wear they should do the job and do it well.

I like those, lots of vents on them though - the keepers hands may get cold! :)

I'll settle for cool... from Puma, M&H, GM and lastly some sample sets this had to be addressed. granted the tech used was a thermometer designed to tell if i have cooked a perfect chicken!
But the brief was to make sure the hands did not get to a set temp. Sweating is always going to happen, more so with certain people but regulating air when the hand opens and closes is the reason why the vents are in these places. The Palm of the hand if worn with an inner needs to remain at a higher temp for feel... but the best way to keep that from sweating was to cool the area under the knuckles at the back of the hand. The finger vents just aid the airflow as stated before but allow it to pass in between the fingers. Its just based on 'feel' again and with our lad wearing gloves for set periods of time I'm happy to go for comfort and feel first when it come to WK gloves. Plus having a very vocal friend giving me tips on WK gloves im not going to ignore his expert opinion... the badger knows his onions!
Back to the board now to get the rest finalised and out the door!
