Title: Salix Pod One Vs Pod Pro
Post by: teakay on May 25, 2009, 07:31:57 PM
Is there much difference in the protection offered by the Salix Pod Pro and Pod one pads?  I am also looking at the Warsop Butterflys.  Current Pads are Newbury Series one (which have performed well - but having made a cricketing come back (not sure how brief yet) they are in a rather battered state - any other recomendations taken.

Yes, the Pod1 offer better protection and have a lighter construction.

The gloves are probably the best in the market and the pads top notch - amongst the best for this season.

Anyone got the Pod 1 Pads on here? really considering getting some. Are they quite big or small pads? As i'm not sure whether to get Youths or not.

In youths pads is the protection exactly the same as mens and just the sizing different or is padding less than mens pads too....

i'd go with the salix pads teakay. i have some pod armas and they are awesome. they shape perfectly to the leg and are perfect if you like to wear your pads low on the foot. the best pads i've ever had by far.
