Not sure if it's been done before, but how about using this topic for Indoor Cricket this winter for anyone who plays?
I played mine last Sunday against Taunton St Andrews who play in Premier 1 in the WEPL. We're in a league played at the Indoor School at the County Ground Taunton.
We scored 146 off our 12 overs, and ended up bowling them out for 44! I scored 39 off 20 against some pretty sharp bowling which was nice.

Seems an enjoyable format as I've never played Indoor cricket before.

Dreadful game last night. We lost all four skins and batted like plonkers. EAlso couldn't hit the stumps for run outs, no matter how hard we tried. My skin was terrible die to the complete lack of empathy with the other player.

Hi Guys we play in the South Devon Indoor cricket league at Paignton Community College, great facilities all brand new everything . With a young team of Colts we drove Torquay Devon premier league team to 155 for 1 and we returned with 122 for 5. Our indoor surface is like playing at the WACA as the ball bounces so high. Loving indoor cricket and good to get some matches after the wash out summer!!!!

Before we get too far on this, it might be worth stating which type of indoor you play. Ours is the same as the world cup video posted a few weeks back. 8 Players, each bowlstwo overs, bat in pairs (skins) and each out is -5 runs.

Ours is the ECB 6 a side game good fun really fast and furious.
-
Don't know that.Ours is also ecb registered... ???

I wasn't aware that there are different formats! Ours is 6-a-side, 12 overs, maximum of 3 overs per bowler. Use the full hall at Taunton, each side wall is 1, a run between the wickets is 2, and back wall is 4 and 6.
Play in the Somerset League where the Teams are-
Bridgwater
Taunton St Andrews
Chard
Minehead
Wellington
Wembdon
League is run by forum member 'MineheadCricket'

Ended up playing against ex-Somerset/Derbyshire/Northants all-rounder Steffan Jones last night. Wasn't bowling his quickest, but his slower ball was awesome and batting wasn't too bad!

We play in the METROPOLITAN ESSEX DISTRICT CRICKET BOARD indoor league. Made up of clubs mostly from the Essex Shepherd Neame league with one or two exceptions. Great standard and highly competitive. We play the ECB indoor rules and winners of the league go on to play against winners of other Essex Indoor leagues for a chance to then represent Essex at the regional/national finals.
