Afternoon all,
With my club being around 60 miles from where I live at the moment I'm looking for a club in Bristol where I can come along for Winter Nets, or just a few lads keen for a hit around here in the Winter.
If anyone nearby is keen please let me know :)

Biggy b our nets don't usually start til 1st week of feb but ur more than welcome to come along mate....expect some abuse tho as standard ;)
-
You're welcome to come along to ours mate, again Feb time but in all honesty you won't get much out of it. The bowlers aren't quick and the "nets" we use a pretty poor.
-
Cheers fellas, I didn't really think it through yesterday that nets won't be starting for ages! Will be in touch nearer the time!
-
Welcome to ours mate, but again will not be starting till feb time....
-
Sweet as thanks mate, looks like i'll be netting 5 nights a week at this rate ;)
-
Alternatively If u fancy some indoor cricket mate both Byo and our team play on Thursday nights league...our side needs a few players as seem to be struggling to get 8 of us out ATM :(

I'm going to be netting at globe sports a fair bit this winter :-)
Where in brizoo do you play Tom?
-
Play for Bristol YMCA in the B&D senior div, our ground is about 5 min drive from the downs off kellaway avenue mate.
Globe is good fun not the longest of nets but good lads down there :)
-
Netted this morning at globe using the auto feeder, bloody dangerous. Kept sticking then firing them out when I was going back to clear it!!
-
No idea then mate...had one off a length spring up and took it on the finger!!
Netting a glos cc again this winter, heard they are improving facilities which will be nice

I like Globe nets, will be going down there in December. However I've pleaded that we change our winter nets at Bradley Stoke Community School. The quality is woeful as is the ground our 3s and 4s play on. Such a shame really as it's a hindrance to our team.
