Colly Bat for £225?

225 for a training aid! That's crazy!
-
Ditto
-
I can see there being plenty of these dirt cheap come this time next winter!
-
I think a young aussie lad has that market sussed already but at a price point that not totally offensive.
-
Are these bats 2 piece lams? Or made from oversize clefts?
I can imagine people being overwhelmed by the sheer size and buying one to use as their match bat
-
Lams - you can see the join.
Since they are illegal in club cricket, I can't see the point of using anything other than Kashmir and charging a max of £50 for a training aid.

I bet it still won't stop someone using it out in the middle

I'll buy it from SportsDirect once it is £25 :)

We got one of these today.
Selling it for £200
Its 2 english willow clefts (hence the price) stuck together, and weighs just shy of 4lb.
Could be a good idea for a club/team to buy as a collective as the intention is to have a 10 minute net with it before batting in the middle to increase bat speed with your normal bat.
If it doesnt sell i'll have it and have a midweek/sunday bunt against some pie chuckers, could be carnage!

These are now £60 from Sports Direct
-
Best let Cover-Drive know them!
-
Lucky we sold ours at full whack :)
Definitely worth a punt at £60
