Hi guys,
I'll try again - see the pictures in the threads below
Regards
Mark
-
the red ones looked really good :)
-
the ones which are blue could look quite good if there were transparent stickers where the colors were and the black bit had a colored lining to show of the grains

ive done it for you :)

Red and Black combination stickers look good.

Purist is a registered trademark under class 28 in Australia and the UK. GM own it and therefore you may have to license it before using that name, or risk being sued.
-
Really really like those stickers. They look class! Doubt GM would have too much of a problem would it, as they don't use the Purist for anything anymore.
-
Still use it for their helmets, and they still own the trademark.
-
Can I ask what the white cross on black background represents?
-
The bottom 4 just look like G&M
-
The colourway and pattern is quite similar to the Dukes brand sold by Morrant.

Really like the look of the first lot of stickers!
-
The cross on the background is a shield icon with the english cross, that depicts the English origin of the bat - trying to introduce some tradition into a modern design.
The English cross is red on a white background. What you have there is the cross of Saint Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall
-
Third from bottom blue and black look really nice! The red and white at the bottom look a lot like GM Flare I think
-
Nice designs, did you do them or get them done?, so in Australia eh? any idea of what the pice is going to be (rough estimate?)
-
as Tom pointed out, you won't be able to use the brand name "purist" as Gunn and Moore own the rights to that name.
I hope your distributor isn't called Brimble!
-
^Now that would be unfortunate!
-
Certainly well produced and the detailing points towards a good designer. But the influences have come from within and should maybe be a little braver. It's true that sometimes it's good to have a little homage to pre existing artwork with little purpose made design cues.
In this instance do they really do enough to separate you from the masses... Place the design not on white paper but on a shelf with many and how is the eye is drawn?
The second design shows the most promise but is a little safe.
This to a point is somewhat irrelevant as the foundation work must be planned and be thorough and Tom has highlighted something fundamental that needs the most attention.
-
Who's Brimble ?
The less you know, the better
-
The above design is the best I think, very classy.

So how did Boom Boom release a bat called 'Apex' a while back and Icon Sports Austrlia use 'Icon' from GM and not get in trouble?
-
beacuse apex and icon are not trademarked? and purist is?

Could be true but I don't understand why GM would trademark only some of there names?

Because the legal fees of the trademark process costs a fair amount and there's only value in trademarking some which you're synonymous with, rather than a bat which is there for 2 years and then dropped.
The phrase 'ICON DXM' is trademarked.

I don't like the white limited edition stickers other than that they are lovely...

Hi Guys, a new name coming shortly (no longer Purist) with the final set of sticker designs. I will post them over the next day or 2.

I agree, all your stickers look good except for the rectangular white Limited edition sticker, you could make it a clear background with black text...might look better...
