I always get confused by the choice of bat grips, so I thought a thread with pics and some observations might be helpful for forum members:-
Chevron - thin grip, reasonable level of grip
(http://images.itsjustcricket.co.uk/images/products/zoom/1338482330-39313300.jpg)
Octopus - thickish grip, high level of grip but tends to wear out gloves
(http://www.splay.co.uk/v3/image/cache/data/Cricket/CBGOCT-500x500.jpg)
etc - anybody want to add some more?
-
Spiral, thick grips
(http://images.itsjustcricket.co.uk/images/products/zoom/1338482801-84061700.jpg)
-
GM Shock absorba, decent grip, thicker bottom hand, glove friendly.
My preferred grip of choice

-
(http://www.cricket-hockey.com/shop/shopimages/products/normal/aero-bat-grips.jpg)
Aero bat tape, unconventional but very grippy
-
Hybrid/combi grip, very good grip, promotes good bottom hand control

If you can get hold of them lol.

Always found some on eBay no problem...
-
Lol not in white though!
-
I seem to only ever find them in white, and I prefer yellow

I gave them an Ian the other day did I tell you?
Should be here soon! haha
-
Best grips I've used are 1/2 chevron - 1/2 spiral, don't seem to be many of them about though.
I also once had some fantastic grips in soft, flexi rubber with massive, heavy spirals on them, haven't seen them in ages though.
-
The GM control grips are very good, I'll try to find a pic.
-
Diamond grip - rubbish unless it's under another grip

here's another rubbish grip - ringline

Personally not a fan but there's the half moon grips
(http://www.ballsports.com.au/images/P/Grip.Half.Moon.Blk.Slv.B.jpg)
-
Used Matrix grips and quite liked them. Plenty of grip and fairly soft to grip:-

Gm Control grip!

No, control grips have pimples on and the lines that stick out are thin as per wilkie's pic.
-
Diamond grip - rubbish unless it's under another grip
(http://www.getpaddedup.co.uk/images/gpu_grip_diamond_black.jpg)
Disagree, I like diamonds, but would have to be over something flat like a chevron or another diamond
-
imagine they would grip better with 2 grips.
-
I prefer diamond grips I like one on as well and a tiny handle yet I have big hands
-
this is all a bit, erm, freaky...
-
It's rather a gripping subject!
-
anybody tried these:-

This style is on all SF bats, i quite like it, though i prefer the unusual ribbed pattern on the top hand, whereas on SF bats its on the bottom hand.
-
Anyone like the scale grip , I quite like the fact that once you grip onto these, they don't let the bat swivel. Used to love Chevron for the lightness of it, but once you start sweating , it's a horror. Not sure if the scale grips are glove murderers.
-
I've been converted into scale grips after using a few bats with them on. Although I still do love the Shock Absorba ones. The scale grips are very very good
-
any other new grips out there?
-
Slazenger OctoPlus is my favourite at the moment, cant find a decent picture though.
Normal octupus style at the top, with the 'suckers' getting gradually bigger the further towards the bat you go. Gives a really nice cushioned feeling on the bottom hand.

Big fan of these grips
-
what do people think about scale grips? they are on gn bats and a load of Indian made bats, partially because they are light.
I think they are truly ghastly.

I had a couple on bats I've had off Dean and if there english made ones there heavenly

I quite like them. They are nice and grippy, and don't tear your gloves apart like octopus do! Mind you, I think the best scale grip I have tried was one on my Hunts County Triumph. There's something different about that scale/snakeskin/half moon grip compared to the GN ones. It's probably because they are made of a better quality rubber. I actually used a GN half moon grip over my Laver to prevent some shock while knocking in, and had to actually cut it in half before I could roll it off. Was really surprised with the bad quality of them, as they really should have been easier to put on and take off, but it was a struggle. I was actually in pain trying to take it off, as the grip kept rolling over my fingers! :-[ A bit disappointing, as it was a brand new GN Legend one. I can at least use it to make a round handle more oval at least, so not all is lost! 8)
My favourite type of grip currently is the hybrid. I got a few from Vantage, and they really were top quality, easy to put on and had good grip. :)
-
are they different to the others on here, any pics to show us?
-
Hunts scale grips are different to grays and kookaburra ones.
The hunts ones are very nice in my opinion. Grippy but not harsh on gloves, thick enough to provide good cushioning, but not so that it feels like you are holding a drainpipe.
I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Tend to agree, got one on my Hunts, I've had it for 3 or 4 years, and I've only used 2 Hunts grips in that time, it's lovely.

Don't think any uk companies make the scale style grips ? All Indian or Pakistani made
-
Favourite grip has to be the GM Shock Absorber, anyone know where you can still buy these?

I do stand corrected then, well the ones Dean has on his vulcans and on the choice willow sticks are really nice, sound similar in description to the hunts ones
-
I'm a fan of the scale/half moon grips myself. They are grippy, have nice cushioning and have been durable so far. They also work well on my GM Grip Applicator.
I used an octopus once and it tore on me while batting. Never again...
-
I love the hibrid grips and think that the kookaburra ones are perfect, I have tried the diamond grips and they improve when doubled up, as they came on my GM bats.
Pardon the pun but I just couldn't get to grips with chevron, even though my laver came with two.
-
Has anyone ever used the tape grip? I remember that a bat had one in the 80s but I cannot remember which (ss turbo perhaps).
I also ask if anyone has ever use as hockey grip and what would be the negatives for using one? I know they are rather cushioned, but are very grippy. If no-one has tried it may be something I could look at as I have some spares somewhere.

Picked up a few of these from the Choice centre the other day. I quite like them, I know theyre not always that popular on here, but they are pretty grippy and I cant seem to find Shock Absorba in white anywhere!

Hewie,
I love the Aero tape grips - although many don't - however they are a bit tricky on big oval handles and no good if you like fatter handles.
I'd give hockey tape grip a go, I reckon that would be well comfy.
-
I know a lot of people aren't fans but my grip of choice for the last 3-4 seasons have been octopus grips. Used to like spiral grips but they seemed to wear out very quickly.
-
Just came across a pyramid grip. Have these gone out of production as I remember they used to be on alot of GN bats 3/4 years ago

were they any good?

Does anyone know what companies custom companies use for their grips?
My Black Cat has a really quality thick spiral grip on it, and I'm sure I've read somewhere that some companies have their grips made over here.
Anyone know where to get them from? Im looking to avoid cheap Indian/Pakistan made grips.

They are horrible grips
-
Love the Kookaburra Xtreme grips, octopus and snake grips - my utopia is finding a sky blue snake grip, but no one seems to stock them!
Simply cannot get on with chevrons or spirals. I've never found that any grips damage my gloves, but that's maybe because I'm never in long enough...

I've got some Royal Blue ones available. £3 each.

Best grips I've used are 1/2 chevron - 1/2 spiral, don't seem to be many of them about though.
Indeed these were quite superb and I bought quite a few from Sam Peplow and also Johan but foolishly gave some away to my team mates. Does anyone know where to get them in white?

we will be stocking the following colours from next week
White
Blue
Gold
Sky Blue
any other colours u guys like?

These are the worse grips ever. The ribs are thin and floppy. So they catch on each other when you roll the grip up. When you unroll them, it bunches the grip up on the handle and it's almost impossible to un-bunch. The ribs then rip, etc, etc. And they won't work on the GM Applicator either because they don't stretch enough. They are truly hideous grips. Steer clear at all cost!

Were these the same as that were on the Kookaburra Blade runner? They sat nicely in the hand.

I haven't tried the Kooks. For the grip that I did manage to put on, it squirms around in the hand which I find a bit disconcerting. Also bits tear off from the ribs quite quickly...

These are definitely my favourite kind of bat grip, salix hybrid style.
-
just swapped a couple of my bats to this type of grip this afternoon to see what they are like, only marginally heavier than a normal chevron and alot lighter than a spiral.
-
What style of grip is the bottom half of the Salix hybrid grip? It looks slightly different to a spiral.
-
Im guessing ebay is the best place to buy some grips?

Bulldog cricket and Ryan Fletcheruk sell some lovely UK made grips.
-
I need to bulk up the bottom hand on my Salix bat, The oval handle isn't as large as I would generally like it. So what suggestions do people have?
-
Half a grip??
-
Would this aid bottom hand control?? I have a bit of a problem with my bottom hand taking over my top hand. Only when I'm defending. Driving etc is all ok because I'm going at the ball. In defence I close the face. Not a lot but would half a grip under my normal set uo aid the issue??
-
I would think half a grip. But it was more of a census to see what others use. As in half a spiral, Chevron etc.
-
Can't quote today
"I would think half a grip. But it was more of a census to see what others use. As in half a spiral, Chevron etc. "
Anyone ever weigh their grips? during the excercise of weighing my bats I ended up thowing some grips on the scale to see what the weight was and found...
Chevron (Most H4L have this white Chevron on): 61gm
Salix Hybrid: 43gm
Salix Spiral: 47 gm
So if you are adding grips to make handle thicker as the bottom and weight is a consideration I would almost suggest cutting a spiral in half and hybrid on top...will weigh the rest later tonight and I have a few different kinds

Anyone with any thoughts on these kook grips? always used octopus but these look the goods?
good/bad reviews?
-
nino, look back through this thread, youll see the views, i had one on my old kooka blade and the grip was an absolut train wreck, it got worn and sticky and just went all over the shop, after two uses!
-
Yeah, was only reviews on other ones similar was hoping the Kook ones might've been a bit better quality. No worries thanks for that I'll steer clear!

no, not at all? nothing like octopus grips, the nobbles are soft, and the grip is a diamond grip, so no, they dont damage gloves at all

absolutely love them! not easy to get on but have one as a 2nd grip on top of the standard GN grip on my gn100
best grip i've ever used
-
Anyone know where I can get a new grip from which will fit my son's size 3 bat? Have looked about but can't seem to find any. If no luck think I'll get a hockey stick grip and put that on.

They'd gook good on blank bats, not so sure about anything with stickers though.

Be interesting to see what colour the glove palms go with them. :D

Hi guys,
so if anyone had to choose between an octopus grip or a spiral/coil grip which one would it be?
I wear batting inners. Would that help less damage on my palms with an octopus grip?
And do the spirals have a good grip on them or do they wear out quickly?
thanks,

Spiral all day long to avoid wear on palms of my gloves. Never had a problem with grip using them.
-
I batted without a grip tonight, and whilst I could hold the bat, the rotation upon the ball striking the blade was significant, and it made my bat sound terrible, unless it has died already.
In summary: Use a grip.
-
Yeah bat with a grip for sure. Just want to know whether which one of the two (spiral or octopus) are better.

Octopus grip tends to wear and tear the palms of you gloves!
Therefore I tend to avoid these grips.
-
Sponsors - any news if and when you will be stocking the following?
2013/14 Spartan grips
2014 GN grips
2014 Kook grips
I've officially given up finding my dream grip - a sky blue snake grip (best ever grip I've used was a Kook snake grip and I'm a Coventry City fan unfortunately!) - but I do like the look of the new grips on the latest bats. V sports were stocking them but have no news on a next delivery
May also look at the GM ripple grips
-
I have confirmed dates for bats, pads & gloves with all of those suppliers.
Everything else is a little more hit and miss.
Mostly pre-xmas, nothing more specific.
-
Cheers Jake, will add some to my purchase list from you over the winter!
-
I've always used a white chevron grip, can't go past them.
firstly because white goes with most colours, and the it gives the handle a really good feel, which I like.
-
I'm using a GM Ripple at the moment.
Weighs in at 2oz, it's thick, comfortable and there's no slipping even with my old shiny palmed gloves.
-

Agree with you, very good grip, considering using these over my beloved chevron grips!
-
I'm also using the kookaburra xtreme grips in all white and highly rate them, I find them really usefull as sometimes my bottom hand is quite strong so having the different grip reminds me to keep it loose when after each ball
-
Im after the new Gray Nicolls blue/orange Kaboom zone grip.Does anyone know if it can be purchased or due to be released in the UK? So far I can only see it in Oz.Cheers in advance
-
Ive just looked again now and from OZ it would be 54 dollars.Roughly £30 for a grip :o.I dont think so.A few years back I sent a football shirt to Oz.Im sure It was under £6.Surely I m ust be able to get one in the UK? On the Gray Nicolls website they had grips but minimum of 10 but not the zone grip.I may have to ring them tomorrow

I assume you looked on Chappell cricket centre or similar? Their overseas shipping prices are extortionate.
The zone grips have not arrived into the UK yet. I ordered loads in November, but no stock as of yet.
Any custom made bats we've had made at Robertsbridge for customers have had old style scale or chevron grips on them.
I'm not sure the kaboom grip is even available to purchase separately, I don't recall seeing it in the price lists.
Jake
-
Certain G.N Zone grips ARE available at Amazon, Sports Supermarket and Barrington sports i brought 3 maverick groups last week.
-
Grays online system shows zero available, and has done since the zone grips were added to the range. I enquired as to the whereabouts of our grips a couple of weeks back and was told no stock had arrived yet. Not sure where others are sourcing theirs from if that is the case.
-
The GN Zone grips currently available are Oblivion, Powerbow & Maverick.
-
Along with Legend, the 3 grips seniorplayer has mentioned are the only ones listed as being available, no sign of Kaboom or X181 style grips.

Can someone please help me. I am stuck between this grip and a octopus grip. I just want to know out of the two which grips better for bottom hand as the kookaburra is spiral for bottom hand.

Octopus grips ruin gloves and tear very easily in my experience I went through 2 in one week once. I currently have a kookaburra grip on my bat which seems to be good giving me good control over the bat no twisting in my hands.
-
Octopus grips stick to gloves particularly on warm days and as stated can tear gloves matrix pattern is my preference for bottom hand grip as it seems to help when playing with soft hands.
-
Anyone had experience of the Puma 2014 grips? They come in three colourways and look pretty effective.

Had a 2013 grip, don't know if they're the same but it was very very thin and I felt everything through the handle.

Hmmmm. Did it look anything like this 2014 grip?

Yeah quite similar tbh, in bule and green.

whats the opinion on the new GM grips?

Love my GM Ripple, very grippy and thick.

Absolutely love them but the blue ones stain your gloves like you wouldn't beleive!

No issue with staining, so long as they don't burn through palms at an alarming rate.

No issue with glove wear whatsoever mate.

No I've had no problem with wearing out my gloves yet with it.

Thanks for the feedback.

That's different, are they also available from Ann Summers??? ;)
Seriously though, looks like an interesting development but not sure how long the spikes would last. I suspect you won't get much slippage with one of these.

Have a look at the second grip in the background of the picture, anyone for a suction cup? taking the octupus grip to the next level:

Are there any grips from GN that are pre made as 1.5 grip, I guess double think for bottom half ?
-
Not aware of any the thickness GN I have seen are the 2015 zone grips.
-
There used to be some fabulous half spiral/half chevron ones around, which were excellent at thickening the lower half of your handle.
Someone may have some on here - I think #Bulldog had some at one point.
-
Glad to see people's views on the new GM grips.
Has anybody noticed they destroy gloves apart or are they decent??

Nope - they were 1/2 spiral and 1/2 chevron, they were really good actually. There were loads of them floating around in white at one point.

I'm trying to find some good quality black diamond grips, amazingly I can't find anywhere online that actually sells them! Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This website lets you design your own grip including diamond, min order is 25 though. Discount goes up the more you order.

Yes pal.

@Mel Jessop
Have you tried Paul directly, Im sure he would send a couple out to make the postage cost effective.
@Aldred Cricket Bats
-
I haven't approached him directly as yet, need to sort a bat issue out with him first.. The bat he sent me us too heavy, I may send it back for some out of it, but worried a couple of ounces will alter the profile to much, so I may sell it on, as its new hopefully it will sell quickly if I take that decision..
Thanks..

The last time we spoke we had apparently sorted it out you were sending it back to me. I hardly ever have any issues but if any do come up everyone who knows and has dealt with me is fully aware that I sort it out for them, that's called customer service and mine is second to non, and there are some who do try and take the Mickey. I can't help but find it incredibly strange that I try and help out in the best way possible for someone to firstly feel he can't back in touch with me about a bat grip if that's what he wants or not finalise what had been organised with the issue you had. I say this because I do find it upsetting that when a company or person has done what they can to help that people then post dissatisfaction publicly with not even half a story there for people to read. I do hope that you get in touch again and we can proceed as was originally arranged.
regards
Paul
-
Paul never did I say I was dissatisfied in that post, just that I needed to sort out wether I was going to have some weight reduction or if I thought that it would diminish from the profile to much sell it on as it is and get a new bat made at a different weight.
The bat grips are a separate issue tbh.
I am sorry if you have read it that I was posting that reply as a dig, I was not just that I had a decision to make, seems that if someone could use a bat at just under 2.13 why not let them use it as it is, as my thinking is that it is an amazing bat and would be a shame to take the weight out of it if it was to the detriment of the bat itself, no offence was meant Paul, I am sorry if this has offended you.
Perhaps you can message me and reassure me that the bat will still be as amazing with the weight out of it, as I really would like to keep it..
Thanks and sorry for the offence this may have caused you.
Mel.

Apology accepted Mel but this is one of the problems with forums. People type things that can be a killer for small businesses. It's a constant battle for the small sole trader companies with no form of investors other than themselves to compete against the bigger boys that have big financial backing. This is why the small companies generally give such good customer service because it's the way they survive alongside the quality of their products. One small piece of criticism in any world sticks around far longer than a huge piece of praise and therefore will stain a fantastic reputation, I learnt that very quickly as a professional cricketer that is why i will stick up for myself for the simple reason I have sacrificed so much to create my business on my own just myself and my wife and when I know I do everything I can to make it not only the best product but the best service and advice that you can find it hurts when one simple line can be written and totally misconstrued by others. I don't say this just for myself I say it for the other small companies out there fighting to build a business
-
I do understand that bad rep can stick Paul, but it honestly was not meant that way.
With the bat in mind, has my message found its way through to you?
Thanks
Mel..
-
I have Mel I will get back to you in the morning.
Paul
-
Ok thanks Paul.
Have a good evening.

Thought I'd add my input on this as I have a shed load of grips now all of them white apart from one.
2x White and 1x black spiral salix
1x White GM shock absorb
1x GM control white
2x new GM white/black/green
2x new GM white/red/blue
1x kookaburra players white
2x new kookaburra vee white
3x white chevron
2x new GN supernova grip white/blue
1x kookaburra snake white
I think their is a comple more kicking round just don't have my bag on me atm.
Always use to be a fan or the old spiral grips felt they sat nice in your hand and had a lot of grip. But now after testing them all I have to say kookaburra have pulled it out of the bag with the vee it has so much comfort and very grip haven't felt my hands move at all on the bat. It's a bit like an all over shock absorber but without the flexibility of it. But you can only get it in black or white at the minute.

Excessive?

Some would say it's a lot but I do have 6 bats in total and always nice to have the right feel when batting. Plus it's nice to have options. This year their seems to be a lot of new styles of grip and lots of options if you look around a few shops.
-
Where's the best (cheapest) place to be getting grips? I could do with a few cos I want to start messing around with combinations :D
-
I'm trying to source a Kookaburra Ghost grip, does anyone know where I might pick one up? I'm UK based.

You looking for that style or exact colour way?
Its the kook Max grip style, bought a job lot off Lorimer's (ebay) pre christmas and aswani sorted me out the year before.
-
I like the wave grips but they dont get on with my gloves and wear them away quickly so going back to the good old chevron.
-
Currently in the process of sending some bats for refurb at Gray Nics nod stumbled upon the grip options. I was wondering if anyone had run into a foam grip (presumably under the standard one) and what they thought of them? Seem quite tough to get hold of elsewhere

Probably one of the worse grip, comes with CA bats
These grips are great as a first-layer grip in a two grip setup. I need a few for my new bats that I am preparing. Anyone got any?

The omega xrd has strips of xrd foam underneath the grip, but I've never heard of a foam grip before

big fan of the ribbed spiral type grips but cant seem to get hold of any at the moment
very thin ribs or gills, anyone know what i'm on about?

Just stumbled onto this site, which is probably known to some:
http://cricketbatgrips.com (http://cricketbatgrips.com)
They offer custom grips, with a minimum order of 3.
Various styles, and you can have up to 4 colours.
'Players Matrix' is the in grip for 2107. Who knew?
Free postage too.

My annual beg to see if anyone knows of anywhere still stocking these, the king of grips!
-
what grip tends to be the best to prolong the life of your gloves?
after reading parts of this forum - I see that the Octopus grips seem to be the worst (which is what I have always used since trying them lol)
I like the look of the salix hybrid ones
any recommendations?
-
I'd imagine chevrons would be best on gloves, and hybrids would probably be pretty good on them too, as you say octopus tend to shred the palms
-
Might be biased but I'd say the Hybrid ones i posted above your post are by far the best all round grips, unfortunately they're not stocked many places.
-
43gramms a shade over 1.5ounces
-
Aero bat grips are lighter , the one i expermented with with was about 18gm , but now that i think about it , my handle was thin so i cut a little excess off ....but still, would have definitely been less than 25gm .

Just had a look on their website as I'm still curious about these.
$69.95NZD and they only come in blue.
When they're half the price (preferably less...) and available in white I may try one! :-[
-
We have a nice Harbor Bridge in Sydney you might be interested in, not sure I can do it in white though.
-
Right then bat nerds.... :)
Where is the best place to buy average thickness chevrons that are nice and soft?
I have GN (thick and a bit plasticy but fine as a single grip), getpaddedup ones (thin and plasticy but fine under another grip) and one from a second hand bat that was jusuuuust right as a top grip with another underneath (I like this one and would like more).
This mystery one is soft and sticky one with no mold lines inside... just a better all around quality grip and I'd like to buy some more if anyone has any recommendations?
Ta!
Salix chevron grips are top quality!
-
Hi All,
Any idea where I can get double thick chevron grips? I know Salix used to do them but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. Cherrs

I believe we get our grips from the same place as Salix (UK Made) - we have white and black chevron grips in and also white combi's available.
-
Does anyone know a source for GM ripple grips without the GM branding? The best grip money can buy but don't really want GM branded ones on my own bats, all the alternative plain ripples I've tried haven't been good enough. Would be prepared to buy in a decent quantity from a manufacturer or similar if necessary.
-
Add the GM terrain grips to the list.
I have just got a couple to try.
Weight >44gramms
Very good quality, slightly softer than I was expecting, which is good news.
-
Also the hex grip.
Which is a bit odd, but nice...
Weight : 48gramms

I love terrain grips, have you noticed additional wear on gloves?
-

I have only had one longish net using the terrain grip so not much of a sample size. Plus I am not using pittards gloves, just the calf leather, but so far so good.
-
I quite like the new Hex grip, I didn't weigh it before putting onto a Chase bat, but it felt quite light. Got a few more on back order, so will take a weight next time.
-
I recently bought a hex grip for my bat. I previously had a wave grip in place. Honestly, I hated the hex grip. I was struggling to hold the bat right and after couple of innings, I can see wear signs on my gloves. I just couldnt get along with it.
-

Just an update on this, yes they distroyed a pair of my son's batting gloves.
I would also say that the quality of grips these days is terrible, apart from the GM ones generally.
I bought some from other makes and they just disintegrate
-
Agree, there's some awful grips out there. All my bats are fitted with Chevrons from a rubber company in India. Before i found them thanks to @Butterfingerz, I'd struggled to find a good supplier. They're a decent thickness and good quality. I did try bracelet style ones, but found they wore my gloves too much.
They're not that light, around 1.5oz, but I'd prefer my bats to weigh 0.5oz more on the scales than use the really thin/light ones.

100% agree with this. I've had a couple of hex grips and hated them, just didn't feel right. I've tried loads of different grips but almost always end up reverting back to more traditional chevron grips.
-
I would like to get similar grips to what Keeley put on their Superior bats. Does anybody know where i can get them from please? I have emailed Keeley but had no response back.

'Dynamic' or 'Dynamite' grips are what you're looking for. GM do a very good version.

I have some SG Hexa grips which are the same design.

Thanks - I've managed to find something similar on getpaddedup.co.uk -

Hi!
Could you share your views/experience on the best chevron grips available now after Paradis…. miss their English made chevrons.
-
Just posting an irritated review of the 'GripSlip' bat grip applicator. Absolutely useless, often mind and finger/hand/body hurting... I should have just bought a cone.Grrrr. It even tore a good quality grip.
Maybe I got a bad one.
-
Looks a lot more effort than a bat cone, which works perfectly still for me and takes me seconds to get a grip on right. The machine ones look good, but again I'm not sure they're that much more effective
-
My raw fingers agree with you.
-
Looking for some UK made chevrons. Anyone know any suppliers? If not who sells good quality chevrons?
-
Paradis Novo went under a while back I believe
Not sure there is any stock of UK made grips knocking about
-
So are all the UK bat makers using indian made chevrons now?
-
Paradise Novo were the UK company who made them, Manchester based but closed a whole ago. Don't know of anyone who makes them over here and so as with softs, they'll most likely come from India.
I only use the best ones I've had/can find from a major manufacturer in India.
-
Yeah, nowhere else seems to come close to the quality Paradis Novo made, down to my last few.
-
I had some dodgy ones from them near the end tbh. The ones I use (I know others use them too) are very good imo. The other issue with the Paradis ones was weight. They were heavier from memory (maybe not tho) and in terms of scale weights, that can matter.
-

Or a poly bag, though not very environmentally friendly.
