Post by: procricket on November 11, 2012, 11:53:59 PM
I think it is a laver

It certainly is not a e41 as it is stickers suggest

Top spot mate definitely looks like a Laver!

Certainly looks like a Laver with the round edges on the toe.

All the 'pro' e41's are a fuller profile, higher middle and more rounded so they look very different to the usual e41's. I've seen a couple up close and they are a much better shape then the off the shelf ones. So more than likely his own shape from Stuart Kranzbuhler, but you never know.

I don't think many, if any, bats are what the sticker suggests.

Brilliant find Dave mate! Definitely doesn't look usual Gray Nicolls!

The ping on this bat was quite remarkable alongside his timing (of course)

I am still fairly confident that it is a custom made GN.

Played with Cowan this year just gone and that's his shape of bat, made by kransbulher.
