Title: Which pads
Post by: procricket on November 12, 2012, 09:02:02 PM
Well with me moving hopefully very soon I stared packing my gear away and have decided that my 11 bats is enough so I packed them and then my gloves so I realised I wanted another set of pads to go with my 3 sets

So I have been looking at the powerbow players or possibly some puma type pads or open to a few suggestions but I like small top hats and preferably small men's

Anybody got any thoughts or tried the powerbows

They seems similar to my r11 chase I also have 2 sets of traditional cane pads

I've never had powerbow pads, but my old GN nitro pads didn't have small top hats.

Personally I'm loving my kook pads at the moment. Smallish top hat, I'm very very short and there a great size in just mens IMO. That is if you haven't got a set of Kooks in your collection already :)

Willostix Anaconda has pretty small top hat from experience.

Woodstock platinum looks classy. SG test pads are also a good choice ,harrowcricketshop is selling them for a decent price.

GM D3O's look to have small top hats, I wouldn't go for the non D3O's however, they are the opposite

Davey, weren't the small mens GN Legend you bought good?

I find no pads to be better than Legends

The tech involved in them was great and the weight but i found them bulky the bolster the under platter and i found the top hat sat a little to the rear for me.

No doubt there top pads mate and are as good as any around there.

My mate used them not seen since

Fair enough, I have 10 or so pair of pads in my room and Legends are best in my opinion. Nothing beats them.
