With all the 2012 models on clearance sale, I think this is a good time, to look for next seasons match bat.
The problem is, that I play cricket in Denmark, so I have to buy all my equipment on the internet and that could be hard enough, to find the right bat..
I'm going to the top of the range, of the shell bats..
My specs are mid to mid/high middle, light pick up and I'm not much into does high thin spines, so not to much radical sanding.
So far, the bat that I have found, are a Kookaburra Recoil, but I'm not 100% sure about it..
Any inputs about what brand and model i should look for ?
cheers

Personally I would be tempted to look at Salix if you want an off the shelf bat. They don't seem to have as much concaving as some other brands.
What weight bat are you looking for?

So what model have the right middel then ?
2.10 ish

Most are mid to high I think - Pod may be best-suited to your specs. Or Strike if you want something a little different http://www.talentcricket.co.uk/salix_cricket_bats_2012/salix_strike_performance_cricket_bat/c51p1424.html

Personally I would say the Salix Pod, Falx or Strike would suit your spec.
However this is just my opinion as you said you wanted an off the shelf bat.
