Hi Guys

I have an old GM Maestro club delux from my school days, bought in it 1993. The back has a vanish type coating on it. Can I sand this off and turn it into a standard oil bat? or at least sand it off and apply the modern face protection tape? I need some help understanding if I can remove the vanish protective coating as it has alot of cracks and just looks shoddy.

I dont see why not
there used to be loads of polyarmoured coated bats
Ive just sanded this old DF polyarmoured
