Nothing to see here...
-
lovely looking bats mate top notch.
where the clefts handled and pressed before you tapped them up
Nothing wrong with Crown made bats
-
Can we have a pic of the back and side profiles on these, cheers
-
The grains look fantastic fella! And as nice as the face of the bats look, I agree that it would be nice to see some profile shots? 8)

Niiiice - I really, really like Crown's branding. Seem a nice shape too.
Did you really look thru' 50 clefts in an hour though - that's only about a minute a cleft (allowing for swigs of tea)

1 min a cleft is ages lol
3 or 4 smacks of a mallet is enough to to tell if its good or not

Hell, thats all some bats get in a season!

Is this Crown-Dewsbury?
-
Was lucky enough to see these last night - they look even better in the flesh :)
I particularly liked the pickup of the one with the hint of heartwood - the last thing I need right now is another bat but am soo tempted to have a trip over to Crown after seeing these lol.

Look great pieces of willow, the stickers look nice as well.
Love the vintage sort of look, using basic colours and not to much blade covering.
