Why does Aussie bats have a square toe rather than round , any particular benefit ?.
-
Not really, i think GN introduced it on their nitro due to pros preferring it.
I know that all m&h bats for 2013 will have the option of square or traditional toe.

Thanks Ryan. Was looking at Michael Clarke's bat. Wonder who makes them.

Think it's just down to personal preference and due to the tracks being a lot harder in oz. It also reduces toe feathering

SS are making Clarkes bats now.

Clarke's bats are made in Australia and have been for some time. He said so himself while at Kingsgrove sports.

I think like a lot of pros, he'll have a number of bats from different manufacturers. He'll just pick his favourites from the bunch and sticker up.
