I have picked up a tidy little pair of trainers on eBay and I'm wondering whether or not to get them spiked for cricket, or keep them for jogging (or the lack of which I do at the moment)
My question is people who've got both, which do you prefer and why?
Many thanks
Tom

Some trainers are designed for road running so aren't the best for cricket outfields. If they are for fielding in go for more robust trainers as the flimsy running lightweight ones will play havoc with your ankles.
What have you gone for Tom?

buy spikes, spiked trainers are fun, but cricket shoes are better value and better for your feet.

I forgot to mention that my other choice of shoe is the gel advance threes which I currently love and have 2 pairs of.

Agree with buzz but you can get some sturdy trainers that won't injure you.
