This was posted up by another retailer on twitter questioning how they could offer them so cheap as they would be making a loss ???

The old if something is too good to be true it usually is i suspect!!

i guess its just a marketing ploy to get the name known. whether they will actually honour any sales at that price remains to be seen but it could be a case of "due to popular demand we are out of stock" type issue. very dangerous ploy if they are doing such a thing. everyone got annoyed with PDC when they did it. could well put people off.

Well I emailed them for pictures and they replied straight back with 5 dynadrives.

Indeed, personally id rather pay an extra few quid and go with someone who has put in the time and effort to pick their own bats and offers a more personal customer service

If I was after a dynadrive I would take a punt

Who said they did not hand pick there bats

Who says the people hand picking there bats know exactly what there doing in all respect.

Who says because they tap up well they may not develop better after knocking in.

Selecting a new bat on ping is as variable as our reviews on bats

This is not a swipe it stating all sides of the coin but then I have had decent bats of asad who sold me quality

A gamble for sure but maybe a worthy one.?

Haha thanks, Tom - I'll take that as a compliment.  As I'm sure Asad will too.  Yes, I very much doubt these will be hand picked Dynadrives!

It's quite an interesting strategy.  Usually discounts are reserved for less popular / worse selling products, for obvious reasons, but we all know that this isn't the case with the Dynadrive.  Having said that, we've offered some crazy discounts in the past too, so I can see where they're coming from!

Interesting that they're based on a high street in Cambridge - I bet the students there will love that place!

All Rounder are suggesting that Discounting upto the stage where they are making a loss seems an odd strategy if they are selling at that price.

Compliments only made where its due, time and effort deserves to reap reward and its worth paying a little extra for IMO

Take a punt, if you pay by credit card you're protected anyway. If they just say out of stock then you've lost nothing. If the bat doesn't turn out to be great you could easily re-coup your money on Ebay.

??? Fellas I've taken a punt - I'll provide a review and some pictures when she arrives - I went for a 'light', lets see what turns up!?!

I understand what they're saying, maybe it's a opening offer. I don't really know how AllRounder can say too much. It was them who I won a £350 bat for just a re-tweet and follow. Surely that is more of a loss. I doubt that these offers will last very long.

Every week they'll do an offer like this, to build up interest in the new online store.

I know one of the guys behind it, and am pretty sure it's legit.

I think from looking at the postal address that they are the online angle of an established sports shop in the centre that I have been in a couple of times.

A 2.11 with the pick up of a 2.7-2.8! It looks even better in the flesh - not a bad bat for my first GN!

didnt you say you went for a light? regardless of pick up i would not call 2'11 a'light' bat?

that's a bit blemishy - I saw a few just like that on Monday that went straight back in the racks, but I guess for that price it's happy days!

I did but that said I weighed it out of interest as I thought it was going to be a 2.7 from the pick-up comparison with some of my 2.8's - almost fell over when I saw 2.11 on the scales as I couldn't believe it - I even checked it again tonight!! That's why I'm happy and didn't send it back or moan as regardless of the weigh in it essentially is 'light'....I'm happy with it even if there are some blemishes......gives it character!

Really haven't been impressed with any of the Dynadrives I've seen to date - I hope this season they introduced them all as lower grades to test the water and they'll start putting some premium grade ones out either later in the season or next year. I also hope they revisit the shape so it's more similar to the classic DD, though I live in hope!

Those two LE Dynadrives do look good. Would that be what the Dynadrives the Pros were using would look like?

how's the ping on this one
I've had a go with a bat mallet and a light bounce with a ball and so far the ping is great - I'm currently knocking her in so I can get her in the nets!
