OK settle down. Proper question. What do you guys wear for indoor nets etc. rubber soled cricket shoes or ordinary trainers? I'm asking because I only have cricket spikes and it seems a bit of a sphere ache trawling through cricket shoes to find rubber soled ones. I'm not a bowler so I don't need anything of that ilk, if forced to turn my arm over it will be off 3 paces. For indoor use only. Any ideas?

I use my artificial boots, I need them as you never know what sort of wicket you're going to play on at my level!

I've got a pair of Adidas 22 yard ones, the rubber soled ones. These also double up as a pair of football boots when I play on astro! Scored from my own penalty box on a 7 a side pitch once! was about 80 metres and keeper was off his line. Beckham who? :D

Just normal running shoes.
-
def trainers for fielding, poss rubber batting spikes if there is quite a thick mat.
-
Asics Running Trainers, light on the ankle and achilles.
-
Asics running shoes for me aswel.
-
tennis shoes.
I'm not a bowler, and they give a decent amount of protection when batting.
As they're ASICS, they look pretty much identical to spikes anyways!

Squash shoes to try and get some grip on a wooden floor.

I wear woodworm indoor cricket shoes I've ha to cut the toe out though they are really comfortable and offer great amounts of grip ( I'm a bowler )
