I've got a pro blade Kookaburra with me that is around 2lb 12oz at the moment and it's way too heavy to my liking.
I like a bat to be around the 2lb 9oz - 2lb 9.5oz mark with a low middle.
Was wondering what companies could do it for me and how much they would charge (postage included)?
Might put some pictures up later.
Cheers

There are plenty of people on here who'd do it for you mate. Will probably want pictures so that they can see where they could take the wood from mate
-
Will stick them up later.
Any suggestions for the best company for this?
As you can probably understand, I really don't want to lose the quality of this bat.
Thanks

may be worth sending back to kookaburra if you can? that way you'll get new kook stickers as well mate.
May be worth contacting them I'm not sure if they do weight reduction
-
send it back to kookaburra.

I think any of the companies on here would do a good job. Like they said, perhaps Kookaburra would be best. Alternatively, to save money, find if there's one local enough for you to visit in person.

Hi mate, we could do a weight reduction for you for £39.99 + £6.50 return postage. The turnaround time would be 7-10 days. Please PM if interested. Cheers.

thank you to everyone for your help.
Will look at sending it back to kookaburra, if not will find somewhere local.
The maker at V Sports always is good to me but it is a hour and a bit drive.

Kookaburra told me that it is something they try to avoid and do not advice due to the change in performance, pick up etc.
They are local though and most probably the most local service to me, do you think I would be able to walk in and ask for the service?
