I'd be surprised if anyone can do a full review just yet.
These are new out and would not have been used against a hard ball in anger yet!

Can anyone review the kooka menace

They were highly rated in the Cricket Insight gear test which we hosted recently. Looks wise most reviewers were a little unsure on both the colours and the shape, but no-one could argue the Menace 700 we had to test was a weapon!

Forgiving middle, good pickup for such a strange shape and as long as you can get past the colourway and the odd shape, this bat is a winner.

as above...
big light  and went very very well!

just strange that the edges near the toe! but does help pickup

I love your comment about the pick-up being really nice, like the Ricochet Paul. I'd hope so too... The middle is so high, if it felt bottom heavy you'd feel proper robbed.

Well, not all high middled bats pick up well.  The GM Flare immediately springs to mind...

Can you still find the middle on front foot shots even though the middle is so high and it has that odd shape?

Depends on how you play really.  The Crictech analysis has proven that some batsman actually play front foot shots high up the blade.  Also need to consider the speed and bounce on the pitches that you play on.  Generally speaking, it isn't really best suited to front foot play though...

In my opinion the kookaburra menace has a very similar shape to the sg stud t20i cricket bat.
Same profile and edge sizes, and since sg makes kookaburra it is possible !

Shape is similar to the Puma 2020 bat here http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=5273.msg74851#msg74851
I know the puma wasn't liked on here but I got the one from VKS in 2010 and I can say it's the most powerful bat I've ever come across, still my match bat.
I reckon Kookaburra are on a winner with this shape.

I have a similar bat to this shape too, really powerful and a massive sweetspot.

That's a very nice looking bat mate, glad to see some people giving the Menace a go!

Lots of the Menace 700's looked like this. We have two very nice ones.

Those grains wouldn't look out of place on a Cenkos!

It's a strange profile isn't it? It's like a ridge

Yes the profile is growing on me. The pick up is good but was thinking it was gonna pick up a bit lighter with the big mid swell and mid to high middle.
