Anyone's team entered it for next season?
We've entered it this year after I mentioned it to the skipper in an attempt to get some more games in
We have to play a prelim game against Skelmenthorpe (huddersfield league) before the 1st round proper
That game will be our first of the season, 14th April, as our league doesnt start till the week after so it will kind of act as a friendly, but obviously alot more competitive
If we make it through the prelim game, we've been drawn at home against Hanging Heaton (Bradford league), which would be a massive test for us, but a great experience. theyl be dishing out some big money for some of their new signings, most notably Gary Fellows
So yeh, anyone else entered?

14th August?

this not the same as the village knockout?
its diff
Kingfisher Beer Cup is ecb national cup

sorry 14th of April is the date, il edit that
its the Kingfisher beer cup yep
apparently the cup above the village cup, as we play at a too high standard to enter village cup, or so ive been told

Or maybe becaus eyou're not a village? Any village is eligible to play in the village knocklout no matter how good you are!

provided your population is less than (I think) 5000 and you are surrounded by green fields...

Yep anybody can enter the village cup so long as the population is less that 5000, so that is the biggest load of crap I've heard in a long while about being to good for it! Birmingham league teams entered it last year which is voted one of the strongest in the country!!

wohhhhhhhhh like i said, i got told we couldnt enter it, dont know the complete details but thats the reason i recieved
didnt need anyone to jump down my throat cheers, never said I was too good, far from it
not sure about the population, plenty of fields though
