Hope you're insured buddy...A couple of our 1st's had their kit stolen from the side of the pitch at our home ground, couldn't believe it when I heard!

Had my match bat nicked from my schools changing room when I left it inside for the weekend. Seeing as my whole bag was hidden pretty disappointing from my own school >:(
-
Had my expensive glasses stolen frm changing rooms once.
Mate keep an eye out on ebay for your stuff. you might beable to get the bugger
-
Sorry mate, that's horrible.
Sunglasses are the big one. I've had 3 pairs of Oakleys taken over the years. I also had my whole kit swiped from the boot of my car when I was outside someone's house picking them up! It was the most gutting feeling ever, and I had to use the club kit that day.
What did you lose kit wise.

Had my car broken into about 4 years ago. Lost £500 or so worth of gear, mainly Salix gear at the time. My insurance paid out but took ages.
Hope you got some cover buddy or even better find them and introduce them to the middle of your bat.

a lovely GN NItro from the changing rooms at Gerrards Cross!
-
A Kippax Legend Limited Edition, which was meant to be paid for, but the guy just left the club. Haven't seen him since...

I once forgot to lock the padlock on my locker at the club, next day there was some national Under 15 comp and when I came back to training I'd had 2 bats stolen and some Adidas spikes.
One bat was near new and the best I've owned and the other was brand new, partly my fault but that didn't lessen my rage at all, fortunately i discovered this place about a week after so have had plenty of replacement bats since.

Hi - Are you insured? if so then you will be able to claim a whole load of new kit.
If I had my kit stolen, I would be onto my insurance company and tell them (with pics!) what got pinched, plus the crime reference number from the police.
My experience is that in the right circumstances they pay out relatively quickly or will reimburse you. I think asking for a load of free kit might be a little premature.

Only problem is that if he had £400 worth of kit stolen, it's likely there will be an excess of at least £100, plus a loss of no claims bonus resulting a premium increase over the next 3 years.
Absolute b***ards who take it. Fingers crossed they get caught.

Unless it was someone on here, I don't think anyone broke in just to steal his cricket gear ;)

It would be an unusal burgalry if all that was taken was the cricket equipment, I am going to guess lots of stuff went missing.

Yeah lots of stuff in the garage lawn mower golf clubs etc it's the only place they got into

If you have contents, You will probably find you are covered for goods kept in an outbuilding up to £5,000 if it is a decent policy. So you will be able to claim on that as long as there is signs of forcible entry.
