Okay, so most people may not realise, but the Dynadrive is the best bat in the world ever, and ever since mine died years ago, I've been looking out for good ones. I have one in my vintage collection, but it is getting on a bit and I've struggled to find one as awesome as when they were new...
... But thanks to GN, we can once again buy new ones. Bats with great pick up, big middle, and that are simply, fantastically great. And here is mine. The all new Dynadrive. Okay so the scoops aren't painted and the stickers don't have the chequers on them, but it is still what it says on the label and I am very excited. This was always my favourite (even though I loved my insignia) and I've tried so hard to replace it. And now I have...
So anyway, I'll stop the emotional silliness, and here are a few pics, and I really, really can't wait to get her in the nets, so if anyone is free on the 25th, I'll leave the Family at home and see you there...
Thanks very much Paul and IJC!

Looks smexy, what weight is it?
-
What a delightful topic title...
Nice bat though Tim. Paul has picked out a beauty for you.
-
If I got a Dynadrive I'd be tempted to take the rear stickers off and paint it. Looks a good 'un Tim
-
Do you find the middle is a little high - this is what is putting me off buying one?
-
Fattus
Buy one and shave a couple or centimetres off the bottom until it's low enough.
(this'll be a good test of how drunk he is) :D
-
That's silly - why don't I just add a bit to the handle?
-
Shame you cant do trade ins like you can with cars, I'd trade in my Scoop i bought at the beginning of the year

Because the middle would still be too far off the floor. That's just a silly idea.
-
That's why I'm drunk and you're sober!
-
A beauty Tim!
-
how's the ping on this one
my experience with last year scoops has been real bad
-
Smooth bat shape!

Feels better than the Scoop i had did at this stage. When we were bouncing a ball on it in the shop it responded well. Nets will tell...

Looks good, I saw the one's at IJC and Paul has picked some good ones.
I think it's a very savvy move from GN to mainly produce these in G2 willow, as bats like these certainly sell.
-
Looks lovely Tim.
Would be intrigued to hear how this pings compared to your other bats.
Looks quite brilliant too! I saw a six grainer Maverick LE today and was put off by it..
-
Mine arrived a couple of days ago too, has abt 6-7 grains but feels decent, pickup is really light...overall a good buy and great service from IJC
-
are the scoops even though? that seems to be the big obsession with these...

On mine they are even, that was one of the first things i looked for..obviously the stickers don't fit well but I might just take them off and paint it...although some part of me wants to wrap it up and put it away so it stays in prestine condition...
-
mines due to arrive today, to say im excited would be an understatement!

As even as they were on the old ones. I'll photograph it next to the old lady when I get an opportunity. And the stickers in the scoops seem to have been applied reasonably well on mine too. Although they should be black for a Dynadrive and Red for a twin scoop... >:(

why? the original dynadrives had red scoops. It was the later versions that had black/ navy scoops.
I'd like to see the scoop in the original maroon GN colours

My memory must be playing tricks. I was sure that the Twin Scoop had red scoops and the Dynadrive Black. Don't remember the navy ???
