Just saw this, looks good innovation. Worth a try...

They've been selling those for ages in Australia, not a real reliable measure of speed. Generally gave out numbers which were pretty off.

Yeah they are terrible...problem is you might program it to measure speed over say 18m....but if you release the ball and bowl a bumper (the ball bounces well before 18m) then it will tell you you are quicker than Brett Lee :) good for the ego lol

agree, far too much variation. shame as its a good idea though...

I had one years ago and they are rubbish. At times they give completely random speeds. Not worth the money really as they don't indicate much.
