Too many great blades to put up a vote style thread - but what floated your boat bat-wise in 2012? The awesome looking Tempo from H4L, the retro Spitfire from Willostix, one of Mr Aldred's beauties, something special from the Pack cave? Far too many to include them all. You don't have to have bought one - but what made you go looking through your not so small change?

I'd stick my hand in the air for Warsop Stebbing.
Tony has been making my bats for years and I am struggling to break away!
Strange, but they don't seem to get much coverage here.
Warsop Stebbing.

Chase FLC with the white stickers ;)
H4l Tempo (about time someone offered a version of the Distinction profile that was sensibly priced!)
Aldred Supreme. Lovely to see a guy going his own way with a design and doing it so well!
Laver Legacy. I don't like it but I like the thinking behind it....!
B3 - Not sure on the accuracy of the process (in relation to what you ask for!) but the end results I have seen have been impressive! Too expensive by a fair margin though.....

mate it's hard choice to just pick one, so i've chosen my top 3:
-1st Newbery GT 335 (Cadbury)
-2nd Willostix Slugger
-3rd Salix Torque Players Cricket Bat
-
Salix has impressed me this year, was disappointed at gray Nicholls... How ever was also really impressed with the H4L Tempo and the bats Ryan (FletcherUk) has made
-
SAF Hades for me
-
SAF Hades and the GN Dynadrive. Hades is a thing of beauty and has wonderful balance. Dynadrive, simply because it was the best bat ever...!
-
Kooka Ricochet best new bat.
B3 best new brand.
-
H4L tempo, anything from the boys at BB, or top of the line B3 look good
-
Think the Tempo is the best new release, though surely not 2012's bat of the year - has anyone even used one in anger yet?
-
Was going to say the H4L Tempo but that wasn't really around for the 2012 English season and would be based on feedback iv seen on here.
So will have to say based on the number iv seen used first hand and having used them personally for a couple of years, Warsop bats. They always seem to perform well and offer good value for money (although they seem to often split at the toe)
Warsop and Choice Willow bats are really common in the Hertfordshire leagues.
Choosing one bat is really hard as see numerous good bats on here from Blankbats etc.

Like I said - you don't have to have bought one... ;)

For me these are the top 3
Salix AJK limited edition, just the best looking and best performing bat I have ever owned
H4L all these seem brilliant including the Hattori
Newbery Cadbury GT the most amazing pick up and great bats from £150
-
H4l tempo by a distance. Not seen anything close to it.
-
Tempo for me too, the only bat to have persuaded me to open my wallet this year
-
I think Michael Clarke's bat wins this award. I am assuming it is a bradbury or a kranz special?
-
Going to say Tempo, bu with the caveat noted elsewhere that I've not used mine in anger yet.
Otherwise, would have to be the Master or Black Cat's Customs...
-
Kooka Ricochet best new bat.
as above...
i hate kook but ive baught one
-
