We all buy hideous amounts of bats and stuff how do you use them all.
I stick to one I use in matches and buy various others to try out and try to make my match bat if there good enough.
I,am no collector I just buy to try then see if there any good
Why do you buy and how do you use them????

I buy the range I like the look of and where the middle is. In 2011 I had a low ish middle, 2012 I had a mid middle.. decided I need a mid-low middle so that's what I've gone for.
I tend to buy a top end bat for matches, a mid range bat for nets and then a mid range bat for T20's an as a match day spare.
Apart from that I rarely buy anything to just 'try' tbh. If I buy it it's because I'm either going to use it or looking to use it.

Similar to you Dave. Bought many to try. Take them into nets and use them a bit in matches, then if i don't like them, move them on. I have a couple i really like...

As a teenager up until this year I've only had/carried one bat.
I go through bats unusually quickly so end up buying a new one in say October-February after buying on the same time the previous year. But earlier this year I ended up carrying two, my match bat and a refurbed spare. I now use last years match bat in the nets at the moment and have a new one which ill gently bring in to become my match bat. When the match bat is ready it will be used in the closest net session to a match and then obviously in the match but in any other net sessions the spare will be used, I like to keep the match bat in a good condition, if the pitch is wet/damp or its raining I will use the spare but other then that It will barely see match use.

I generally just buy bargains when i see them pop up on here.
Sell the majority of them on and keep the ones i fancy using. Never have more than 2-3 bats at a time though.

I tend to hold them by the handle...
I'm a hoarder really. I tend to have a long running problem where I'm curious as to why one bat is meant to be better for one reason or other. And I'm a sucker for a 'deal'.

I have 2 GN Legend bats (AUS version), one I use for training, the other in games. Funnily enough, the bat I think is the best (2lb 9oz, 12-13 dead straight grains) I have never been able to score runs with, I don't know why, but the bat which I had pegged down as a training bat (2lb 8oz, 9 grains), I scored 2 successive half-centuries with and have stuck with it as my match bat ever since. Moving into their 5th seasons, both still go nicely, but given how long it's been since I got a new bat, I'm finding it hard to resist temptation. Probably in the lead-up to next Australian summer...

Use a bat till its falling to pieces, tape it together and use it some more.
Also I like to use one bat for matches and nets to get properly used to it.
But I seem to get new softs very often, haven't found the right set yet.

i just buy what i like the look of and use as and when. I have my favourite but all my bats are top quality.
just started to feel i have to many now though at 14 with 11 brand new so may be time to move some on

1 match bat that ill use until it dies, a net bat to ensure my match bat last a bit longer and a spare as someone always needs to "borrow" one.
Had my R&D phase where 11 bats came and went and now know what I like and what suits my game.

Me too... although last few weeks have been very difficult not to buy anything as there are some deals to be had

2 match bats but i have number 1 out of the 2 and 2 nets bats that will be ready to step up if needed i not grains man i just look for handle that feels right in my hands picks light for a bat thats in the 2 10 to 2 12 class middle must be low to mid not botherd by edge size or spine as i not a big fan of lots of cocaveing and one grip on the bat

Match bat for matches only, rest are used against bola and use a cheap bat against cricket balls.

Mostly I have 1 match bat that I stick to but when I am out of form it is usually the bats fault :-) last year I rotated between 3 bats most of the season and even used an old DF Magnum in one game because I had pretty much given up on the idea of making a score of more than 10!! I tend to carry 3 bats in my bag as there are usually one or two on my team who don't have bats.
If I had more disposable income I would have a lot of bats and an earful from the missus :-)
