Could be quite a bit of fun in a net session
-
Have you tried them at a net session??
-
Not in a net, but tried just throwing a ball in a room with the radar to the side and seems to register well.
You'd have to ban any wayward bowlers in case they destroy the thing! :)
-
sod it.. I'll take one please :)

Good man! I'll PM you.
-
I just want too annoy bowlers.. oh and see how slow I am at bowling.. I reckon I'm 62Mph. Guess I'll find out :)
-
12m range? - isn't a cricket pitch 20m?
-
It's only measured from the hand so don't think you need it to reach the whole way ??

It'll only measure as the ball goes past the machine, so if you want to cover the full 22 yards and see how the ball slows down then buy two or three :)
-
There a good I phone app the lets you measure speed of deliverys
It,s called cricket coach plus
-
I ain't risking my Iphone!
-
You stand there as bowler lets go to it passes the stu,ps it quite accurate I got it with 3mph of every bowler last year at a one day int
-
We stuck one of these by the stumps during our GM test track day. Was pretty accurate (compared with the speed the bowling machine said it was firing the ball) as long as a flashing blade wasnt chasing a wide one. Batsman/flashing blade occasionally interefered.

I want one :( :( :(

We can order one in for you if you like :) If anyone else wants one, that would help us to order them at the same time.

Nah, it's notional demand. I don't have the money to back it up.
