Morning All
We have just secured funding for a new double lane net through the ECB as part of a project at our club. These nets have to be installed by a registered ECB company so we cant simply use the nets we purchased already
Subsequently we have a double lane net that was purchased 18 months ago thats no longer required. It has seen very little use as we bought if from another local club that folded but never got around to installing it due to the ongoing application to flatten all of our out building and incorporate the new nets as well.
This includes all of the metal framework for a double lane net, the netting as well as the matting to go down onto them including the underlay and green astro-turf surface.
New these would cost in excess of £2500.00, I believe they came from Tildnet originally as per the link below that just covers the netting and framework.

Obviously due to the size of the framework, matting and net it would need to be collected from our club in Bristol where it is currently stored is a disassembled format.
Price wise looking for £850.00 which is a very good price considering the amount of life left in it. (think of it as buying the matting and getting £2k worth of nets for free).
This would be idea for a club looking to replace or improve their facilities but not being able to stretch to a brand new set.
Please drop me a line if these are of interest to anyone.
Cheers
Tom

Are all the poles for the frame straight and damage free?
-
Yeah all straight and ready to assemble again as must have taken us a good 4 hours to take it apart previously
-
Tom - I'll pass this on to a few clubs in south Wales
-
Thanks Arvind
Cant find any actual images of the nets when they were up but they are in very good condition as they hadnt been used much beforehand.
-
Very interested in this but I fear it might get snapped up before I get a chance to discuss it with the committee...
:(
-
There's me thinking the image was of the actual nets and this was the bargain of the year so far :)
-
Our club is a registered charity Arvind but were not stupid ;)
-
Does the matting run the full width of the lane? Or is the edge pieces for around the poles?
-
They are the width of the darker green in the above image, would make life easier if i had proper pics i know but cant find the email i got sent 18 months ago with them on now!
-
Congrats on the funding Tom. If we weren't so restricted by youth vandals at our club I would be biting your hand off for this :(
