another little birdie told me they have a new supplier in india now...
i was directly told by Kunal Sharma that they have their own factory...apparently thats not the case..

that is a good point....but companies still sell old bat models like Sunil gavaskar, brian lara, etc etc .....

Not uncommon to launch a product bearing a players name just before termination as clauses exist which mean you get to use their image for an extra 6 months

Considering he signed a new deal with GN in November this rumour is highly unlikely to be correct.

So re: the announcement on Friday, which looks to co-incide with the Aus/SL ODI. So could be another player, or even a new bat?
