Title: Custom Made Bats from GN, Newbery and Salix
Post by: Uzi Sports on January 16, 2013, 09:02:07 PM: We can offer custom made bats from Gray Nicolls, Newbery and Salix.

with Newbery we can get any of the SPS models made according to your specifications
With Salix, we can get any model made
with Gray Nicolls, you can have custom made bat to your exact specification, made from LE willow.

Turn around time is usually 2-3 weeks.

The Gray Nicolls won't come knocked in, or even pre-prepared. Cant't speak for the others.

True, same is true also for Salix
Newbery SPS do come pre-prepared

One of the clefts we got our original run of custom Dynadrives from was marked 'LEG'

They all seem grainy but with heartwood so maybe were Legends when first graded but now Grays have changed their minds? We got ours for LE price too :)

Last year I had 2 bats which were made from willow marked Legend but managed to down grade it to LE. There was no heartwood on either of them

Ok sir Pete dynadrive les will be made from these 2 clefts unless any forum member is interested getting other GN model using these clefts

It has about 19 to 20 grains,
Edge is 42mm

It could be a 2lb6oz - 2lb8oz, weight would depend of the depth on the 2 scoops.

Blasphemy! :P I think they look great, although I will admit that some of their older stickers were better. :-[

The Salix stickers look classy in flesh. In pictures they may look a bit foul (I had the same impressions), but they look top class in reality. I hope the guy who get these customs or buy the off-the-shelf Salix bats will agree.
