Hi guys,
I'm considered the bat expert at my club, so I've been given the task of finding a bat for two of my mates.
One is a teeny little guy, currently uses a size 5 Slazenger bat. I think it was a V900, it was supposed to be grade 4, but he ended up with a grade 2. It had little scoops either side of the spine to give the appearance of bigger edges and lighter weight.
He needs a Harrow bat, and his budget is AU$200, delivered to Melbourne. He wants something that is 2.5, but picks up lighter. Lightweight is key, but because he's a little guy, he needs something with a bit of oomph behind it as well. So something with the profile of the Screaming Cat Series 2 or 4, with a high middle, nice edges, a light weight and pick up.
The other is a big guy, currently uses a Short Handle Gray Nicolls Predator 3 Star. He wants a lowish middle, with a lot of power behind it. He wants a 2.8 or 2.9, that picks up lighter, with big edges. His budget is AU$250, delivered to Melbourne.
I need suggestions quickly, they're going to order this week.
Thanks

GCCC have flares on sale in junior sizes:

And for the bigger guy maybe a platinum 3000 (Senior bats shoot up in price so a low model fits his budget)

Hey Daanal, you could possibly get a harrow and a SH bat made by a sponsor and delivered to Australia for around $450. It does depend on how long they are willing to wait though...

I don't know how long they're willing to wait, I'll ask em at training tomorrow.
Red Ink cricket look good so far.

My suggestion would be BAS Harrow which is very close to Small Men bat.
I would suggest you to look at Gray Nicolls Quantum bats on our web site.

Any questions Plz email me
