Got sent these photos earlier by a manufacturer and I got thinking would people actually wear them. The more I look at them the more I like them. What are peoples thoughts on them?

I imagine these would divide opinion quite equally. They aren't my cup of tea mainly because I think less is sometimes more. There seems to be quite a lot going on in the design and looks quite cluttered. Although they are definitely unique and there isn't anything else out quite like them.
-
I would but then I like the modern style of pads
-
most of the Puma ones look like that. A couple of flashes of colour and they could pass as Pumas.
-
2 strap pads? What size?
-
I'm not really a fan personally but I could see some people being attracted to them
As Nick said a few flashes of colour and there near enough a Puma pad.
-
Looks a little like Transformers are entering the world of cricket... :D
Not sure If I like them or not, could be they just need a little flash of colour.
-
I'm not a fan of this Puma-esque shape. I just think that they're trying to be too modern by adding in too many separate shapes. Reminds me of some kind of armour from a sci-fi tv show/game...
-
Much prefer the 1st pair to the 2nd.

I am not sure if they are 2 strap or not. I have only seen the photos of the front of them so far and I am waiting on further details of the pads

These ones are better looking but i would recommend a few changes
1 - either have 4 canes or 2 canes (like they are) and 2 solid foam type sections instead of angled cuts..
2 - as for the knee roll, if the middle section of the knee roll could be made 1 piece that would be great...
Here are my 2 poor attempts with ms paint :-[

Puma modern style (non-Flextech) look a whole lot less fussy and better designed than these do:

I reckon they look good and prefer the bottom ones, then again I love and wear the modern pumas.
-
For me there is too much going on in the centre of both pads, even them out a little and they will look very nice
-
I don't mind them. They could come up looking really nice with a couple if tweaks and simplified. Would be keen to know what they weigh too.
-
they are some fugly pads. Although with a bit of colour etc im sure they will appeal so some people.
-
I would wear the top pair
-
I like the second pair. As others have said, they have a very Puma look about them.
-
I think there is just too much on these pads, I'd be more favourable to these style pads if they kept the area covering the shin with the traditional straight cane style pads the rest would be wearable but I am still a much more traditional fan but each to their own.
-
They look okay, but in a market where many of the products are similar this will stand out
-
Johnny i really like that bottom design, they look very well made as well :)
they have a hint of GM about them which isnt a bad thing
good work

I prefer the bottom ones. They look a better design to me. I'd wear them. Wouldn't wear the top ones though.
-
Not really my cup of tea, but then again I am an old man!!
My son has the aero p1's Im always telling him they look like giant shin pads!
I've bought him some traditional pads to net in as in the moulded pads you can't see if there's enough of a bend in the knee.
-
Like them they look different!

Just recieved photos of a potential design based on previous images
-
Personally, think the cente of the pads need to be cnes, or solid foam, not angled cuts as has been said before...look good otherwise.
-
I really like them bud not a normal fan of modern pads but they look great
-
I like them. However the knee roll is a bit too Battlestar Galactica for me. The 3 bars in the knee roll need to be a bit more 'joined up' with the side panels.
-
These are only one off samples and once i see them in person I will be able to see what changes needed to made and then improve them for the next time
-
I love puma pads so like these. What is the quality like, stitching and materials on the front of the pad? What sort of price will you sell them for?

Dont have them yet so I can not tell yet. They are top of the range materials and protection. Have not decided on price yet
