Title: Kookaburra Ricochet Players vs. Laver and Wood Reserve

Got my Ricochet Players through today so though I'd take a few pics next to me Laver Reserve (For Sale thread http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=21658.msg349077;topicseen#msg349077 (http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=21658.msg349077;topicseen#msg349077)).

The Ricochet is 2lb 7oz and picks up unbelievably well.  The Laver is 2lb 10oz and has awesome performance, but is just too heavy for me - hence the sale.

Grains are gorgeous on both.  Slightly cleaner on the Ricochet, but I chose the Laver willow on performance rather than prettiness.  They still aren't bad though!

Hit the mallet on both and performance is top notch on both.  Looking forward to getting to winter nets!

As a grain fan those on the ricochet are outstanding, top quality that is.

Looks a beauty, had a pickup of a 2.9 in Batting 4 6 and a lot of wood for the weight! Slightly higher middle than your Laver or maybe it's a little more pronounced due to the weight difference.

WoW, superb grains on that Ricohet and looks decent size bat for 2.7.

Had my Ricochet for just over a week.  Even though its only a 1000 and not anywhere near as grainy as this, its an absolute gun!

That players actually made me damp!!  hope it plays as well for you as mine does for me

Unfortunately I haven't quite got enough posts yet!  How much are you flogging the Laver for?
